HI. I appreciate your video. I am 50 and my husband was diagnosed at 51 with ALS a year ago. I told my mom today, I am losing myself. I take care of him He's bedbound. He recently was admitted to hospice. He's a veteran so we are taken care of but I feel like i need to find myself again. Thank you for your inspiration! You look great!

I just happened to read this comment on her video. My mom passed of ALS in 2011. I took care of her and it hit home when you said you are losing yourself. Now my spouse (19 years older) is having health issues and it's so difficult. Try and get a little bit of time for yourself. Anyways, I just wanted to say you are being thought of in Texas.

I think we do what we have to even if on auto pilot but. once we lose ourselves and find ourselves just going through the motions of living and not really being a. part of the life that happens around us that's when we need to push through and find ourselves again. Watching loved ones die is just so incredibly hard and heartbreaking. I am sending you hugs as you will need them and. you will need help getting through this!!!!

It sure does. My beach walks have given me time to evaluate, to really put things in perspective! Plus it’s helped my get stronger and trim down too.

Thank you so much! I have missed you! I hope all is well with you! I have been very proactive and consistent with my skin. Turned 70 this past Feb and that sounded so old LOL... I still have a hard time saying I am 70! We are in Myrtle Beach and I have been walking the beach every day! Hugs!

Losing my mother, my last living parent, sent me into quite a depression. My husband couldn’t understand why it took me so long to find myself again. I’m so sorry you have had to go through so much in the last few years. Sometimes, it just takes quiet and peace to move passed your losses.

We loved the little town of Duneden. We are both water people so really need to be near the coast. The Villages was lot's fun and our friends love it there!

So glad you are feeling better. I lost both my dad and mom and I felt empty and detached. It takes awhile to get thru it. So glad you're back. Ive seen some of your wig reviews but was wondering if you were going to continue your vlogs.❤❤

@MonikaBeautyandLifestyle , I will keep you in my prayers. I grieved terrible for my mom and still do on occasion. She died of ALZheimers in 2017. It takes awhile but it does get better with time. 🙏🙏

@@sherrydavis5599I’m sorry about your mom and dad. My one and only sister was diagnosed with Dementia/Alzheimers when she was 69, she will be 74 this month. I’m so grateful to my husband who decided 9 years ago to move us so I could be closer to my sister, she’s about 10 miles from me. She’s my best friend, my one and only. I see her almost everyday and take her with me whenever I’m out and about just to get her out of the house. I took her to Florida a couple of weeks ago and me and my daughter took her one day to Disney, one of her favorite places. We had a blast riding all the kiddie rides, my daughter took lots of pictures and videos for her. It’s a terrible disease to see a love one go through it. Bless you🙏🏻❤️

I have been following your adventure on Facebook. I am so glad that you are in a better place. I totally understand what you mean, I also feel that I have been lost and just on auto pilot, I lost my dad May 2023, my mom almost 9 years, my best friend (loved her like a sister) passed away 3 weeks, health issues with myself and loved ones, it has been rough. Every day I get up and have a talk with myself about doing something positive for myself, excersise, get a pedicure, dying my hair and it seems like such a big job, so I understand. It's such a weird feeling. I find myself just sitting there deep in thought, then I start to cry. Easter was the worst. Several times tears just came out of nowhere. I will tell Shelia you asked about her. We will do a video for sure! Sending you hugs!!!
