My Himi 411 could never do those speeds. Kudos to RE for engineering a genuine upgrade in virtually all departments. The digital cluster alone feels worth the money.

The new engine is not comparable to the old one. It's shown in AbinavBhatt's channel that new one can go from 60-150kmph in 6th gear.

yes, 411 starts huffing puffing after 90kmph.. plenty of struggles and package too doesn't feel compact.

Looks like it can maintain 130+ all day. I ride at 90-100 on highways. Rarely I’ll go past 100.

I was also riding 90-100 now I ride 120-150 in my tiger. Actually a lot of time you increase your risk appetite as you feel NOT threaten at those speeds. A good bike makes a lot of difference

Previous Himalayan also promised a lot but the end results was breaking of chassis. Triumph are masters of adv tiger they know how to built it the first time 😊😊

@@viky8550 True. That's my only gripe. I can't wait for the rally tires to come in 3 months later. So for people like me it's actually the cost of the tubed rim + the cost of the new tubeless rim. It's like paying double. But we have to wait for the pricing. I work in the automotive industry I know for a fact how much scaling can bring down the cost. We'll have to wait and watch.

@@pritamchakraborty4951 But RE has sold so many Himalayans' at this point that I'm pretty sure such glaring issues won't be present. I mean they've had like 5 refreshes of the original H411 already. They won't mess up like before.

Seems like the bike is most comfortable around 130, it can do 140-150 but I think that’s stressing the engine a bit. Very decent speed, did you have fun on this patchy road? 😂

Perfect ❤ As Royal enfield is eyeing global this DOHC engine which are trademarks of Hondas and Yamahas are proven from their stable.lets see how this engine SHERPA what royal enfield named it proves it reliability and credibility.we all know TE has credibility issues.but over the years they have learnt a lot there twin J series are rock solid and performs well

How is the tide quality in comparison to the 390... On highways... When it comes to those slight undulations at high speeds.... Or like riding on concrete instead of roads paved with tar.

I can feel little bit vibrations on high speed but this machine is insance and rev friendly and the most the stability on highway is very good....waiting for test ride am so exited❤❤ Great video man .....❤

Engine is not re defined ot is a whole new set of engine It is short stroke high reving engine which will give you higher rpm Company is claiming it will give torque in lower rpms but i doubt that

From the video and engine sound, it appears to be a smooth till 130 kmph on 6th gear. That's a record good cruising speed for a single cyl bike

but this is not just for Indian markets. As someone that owns an interceptor 650 in the states riding at 100KPH on the highway is a good way to get run over. I also can go between 4 to 5 states in a 100 mile.

No. The top speed of 5th gear is 148-150 and on 6th it is only 152-154 as it is like an overdrive gear meant for cruising with lowest vibrations. I have seen another video too in which even after crouching, it doesn't cross 152 on 6th. But let's see once we have full reviews from 10th Nov onwards.

First time I see an re do such things. Also the shim clatter could be heard, but it's mild and nice.. IMHO, 100 to 120 should be a correct cruise speed for optimal fuel economy.

Never road a Himalayan earlier but the New Himalayan is abt the same weight as the Dominar.. The amount of vibrations in Dominar at 120 KMPH is very less compared to what seems like to be the case in this video.

You should have done it with analog display so we could judged whats the best comfortable cruising speed of the bike

Yeah. But judging from the sound, fair to say it should be super comfortable between 120 and 130 kmph on 6th gear. That should translate to around 7-7.5k RPM. That's a great achievement. I don't think any single cyl bike has a cruising speed of above 120 (ktm 390, CBR, Gixxer all have vibrations after 110-120 kmph)

Everybody in the comment section are talking only about the speed, wish for cruise control, handling at speed etc. They all forget one thing. THIS IS AN ADVENTURE BIKE. Of course the ability for good handling at speed is a bonus. But thats not what this machine is made for.

As RE came back from last decade and maintain top position in above 350 segment... honda tried with CB350 and failed .KTM is only company who maintained good sale fig with awesome engine..RE was in market with himalayan 411 with lot of criticism...in between Triumph and Harley jumped to take RE share....but we can say no one can beat RE ...because on right time they are ready wuth Himalayan 452....now scrambler 400x will losse ground if RE will launch at good price...

Sorry but being a ktm adv 390 owner ktm is out of the race when it comes to the comfort and smoothness of the engine compared with Himalayan. The low end issue in city traffic or at slow speed the jerks spoils many time the riding mood. But ye once you hit the highways it just pulls so effortlessly but with vibrations. And the ktms has one of the worst clutch system out of my experience riding multiple machines. Still I own it because I am taking it for highway rides banglore to Rajasthan

i was surprised why any of reviewers not using 6th gear, now i know it doesn't have that punch to do a top speed, it is there just for the cruising purpose, i know you can't say anything on it now, will wait for your reply untill the embargo pulls off

Its not how fast you can go...its all about how fast you can stop that makes the difference... please do a brake test as well.. how fast she can deccelerate from 60 and 100.... rest of the speeds are not practical

411 himi is Highly predictable. In 5th gear 4k rpm means 80 kmph, 5k rpm means 100kmph, 6500 rpm means 130kmph where it will max out. Hope 452 himi carries the same predictability. 7500 rpm means 150kmph ??

Kudos for maintaining that speed on a 21 inch wheel ... the bike feels disconnected from the road with such front larger wheel at those speeds.
