"This is what you're getting with the majority of phones" - when referring to the Rise mode, I'd wager that most phones don't even get to that level of performance and instead they're more similar to the Balanced mode here. I haven't had any heating issues when playing on Rise (mostly emulating PS2 and Switch, not so much Android games).

hey and what type of cooler fan i can use to put it on the phone. to get the fan to clip. onto the phone and will stay on also. when the cod warzone game launchs. very soon in 5 days or less i can play the game etc.

Mine doesn't overheat. I also mostly game on it with hdmi - usb-c to my tv. Side note I've had multiple controllers hooked up at the same time if anyone is wondering.

Get a flydigi BX5 cooler. If anyone is having issues and it'll help big time.. but don't overclock the cooler because it can cause precipitation by the chip

My Redmagic 9 Pro gets hot after around 10 to 15 minutes of One Punch Man World gameplay and the fan starts spinning at full speed but the game runs buttery smooth and I noticed no throttling even with the heat (mostly the phone frames get hot)

Overheating depends on the games you play. Certain games can smoothly play on eco mode but can reach 43°C. Am taking example of Alien isolation at 60fps. Other games like weeckfest at max graphics 90fps can easily go near 50° C on balance mode.

I've had the RedMagic 9 pro for almost 2 months now, and it's been nothing but amazing, I only experienced the overheating issue 2 times on Rise mode during my almost 2 months use but they happened when the heat index in my country reached 42ºC / 108ºF, playing indoors with the AC on solves this small problem. I mostly play Mobile Legends, COD:M, and Farlight 86; and some Real Racing and Genshin Impact; which you might think require me to play on Rise mode but playing them on Balanced mode is no sweat for the phone given its high-end specs.

is there any difference between 12gb and 16bg in performance? i only play pubg for at most 3 hours a day is there a need to buy the 16gb ram ??

just today they released COD warzone in my country but after I played for 15mins the screen is freaking hot that I had to stop.

How's the battery? How long does it last? Have you received any updates?
