I remember meeting Redman in a nightclub in Atlanta. He was sitting at the bar, alone, drinking. No friends, no bodyguard's, no entourage, nothing. I walked up to him and said I loved his debut record "Whut . . . Thee Album." He kind a looked at me and gave me a nod and I walked away. As I was leaving he gets up from his barstool, gives a me big bro-hug and starts telling me, "yo money, my next album is coming out soon and I'm gonna get em again!"

Redman is a GOAT emcee. One of the illest lyricists ever. Never gets the respect he deserves. This episode was so important. Epitome of why I gave up my pursuit many decades ago. Fortune from music is like 5% talent and 95% luck. I knew a lot of incredible rappers that never ‘made it big’. I’m not saying Redman didn’t make it big, but just look at some clown ass mumble rappers living in mansions with 20 cars and then you got someone like Red who is insanely gifted but chose to do the music he loved and not making some lame songs just to make money. Respect Redman!!!!!!

I love how the editing and music is trying to add emphasis to the house 🤣🤣 I remember watching this episode and I know this resonated with a lot of people. It let you have some sense of pride for not living in a mansion. Salute to that.

Saw a recent interview with Redman saying he still owns the house and its increased in value and he still lives in it. Whilst there are celebrities who bought houses for millions and cant sell them now and have had to reduce the price by millions. Who is the sucker now. Big up Redman!

@@herbderb4929 Only person showing themselves to be a complete and total sucker is you my friend for not being able to read or actually comprehend my message or understand simple economics or money. So just for you Hector will break it down. In no way was I knocking anyone for being a millionaire but what I would like especially those from the Hip-Hop culture is to be able to keep their money and to continue to grow their money. Those that come into to new money from Hip Hop or even sports....never had real money before, buying a fleet of cars that depreciate or property over their means which they can not afford to maintain or then sell at a market lost (which I'm sure 50 cent didn't like selling his mansion at 84% loss but I'm sure he learnt from it). But I am sure even you would agree does not make good business sense or when a high % sports stars go broke after they retire. So I will say it again big up Red Man for living within his means for showing how he really lives and not being fake which is what Hector "the real dummy" Green wants?
