do the fans work when you watch KZfaq? is the screen matte or glossy?

I am a former Redmibook Pro 15 2022 owner. The fans are almost always working audibly when charging the laptop. The fans don't spin when on battery power, but they would when you watch KZfaq. If they haven't changed the fan behaviour after 2 years (which would be strange if they didn't) - then you'll hear the fan noise because the minimum fan speed is set too high. The Redmibook Pro 15 2022 in particular had strange fan behaviour when the minimum fan speed would be set high, but the later BIOS versions have tried fixing the problem by lowering the fan speed and spinning the fans up very slowly. However, they didn't get it to work properly, as the only way you can have the fans working at a very low fan speed is by putting the laptop to sleep and waking it up again. Overall, you shouldn't worry too much about the fan noise when using the laptop on the charger. There should be less fan noise when using the laptop in "Silent" mode. You wouldn't want to watch KZfaq on this laptop without earphones - because the speakers on the laptop are rather mediocre and because earphones provide far superior sound quality than any laptop speakers. You should also spare the people around you from having to hear your videos by using earphones.

Im user of redmi book pro 2022. impressive build quality and spec for the price. would def upgrade to redmi book pro 2024 if they put discrete gpu.. maybe next year

You'd have to reinstall Windows for that. It has the Chinese version of Windows that makes the laptop cheaper (the Windows license is cheaper for China, and that helps bring the price of the laptop down further), I don't think you can use a different language in the Chinese Windows without hacking it.
