2005: long press unlock after * key..took 5 seconds..no problem... 2019: unlocks with face in 2 seconds.....too slow...(wtf) 2050: unlocks with mind in 0.01 second....I'm gonna sell this phone No matter how much easier our lives get..we still are not satisfied.....humans....

Let's be clear about the Telephoto camera jhol When there is sufficient light 2x zoom is working through the telephoto lenses. But in low light or when the camera feels that there is not sufficient light( in day light ) it automatically shifts to main camera for 2x zoom . Here we get digital zoom. But in Gcam mods telephoto lense is working in low light also. I have tested several times and this is the truth.

Dude Amazon prime video doesn't have HD on K20 series Still on July security update. Had 2 times the phone got stuck and had to hard reboot. It's better to go for other phones.

I think low light me Telephoto lens use nahi hota. iphone X, Note 8, Note 9 koi bhi telephoto use nahi karta low light pe !!!! But thanks for pointing out

Its pretty amazing and the ads u were talking about, u can actually turn off the notification pop ups by swiping left where it will show setting option where u will get to see the turn off switch (everything happenes while in the notification panel, not a complicated process at all)

Bhai try the telephoto lens in daylight, i found the same thing in mi A1 thinking its a scam but later realized telephoto lens needs more light so the phone optimizes itself for indoor lights. Please try it in daylight & reply

It's Oct 2019 and I still can't find anything cheap as this phone in the Indian market with 855 snapdragons 😀. They said so may cons and pros. But that doesn't affect me. I looked for Amoled Displayed with full screen. Screen unlocks 4000+ battery Snapdragons 855 Camera with decency This phone ticks all my boxes and it's on the way 🚵.... It's Oct 2019 yet this one seems to be the best in my budget ✌

Finally it's been six days I have been using it now. Truth to be told - IAM happy with the price I paid to get one of it. IT'S A KILLER according to me as of now . So freaking smooth, battery not bad ( for normal usage, 1.5 - 2 day is promised) for a gamer like myself - it still last a day. Gaming experience - wowser ( especially PUBG) ultra HD graphics 👌... So smooth that I feel so unreal. Camera is okay but not the best. Especially the colour contrast feels little bit warmer than natural. Still it gives good pic in 48MP Bloggers were paid to reviews the phone but not users like me... We bought with a price tag 😀😀😀 As of today, I don't regret about about this phone. Let's see how long the phone will deliver this performance. I would recommend people that it's really worth buying when it comes to all round details.

@@brentmoore2609 I use redmi note 3 pro 2016 one. I don't regret about when it comes to buying this new one which ticks all my specs that I desire in a phone. The battery charges in 1:40 minutes time duration for full charged. The life duration of the battery is quite impressive. The smoothness (awesome) although it didn't have the refresh rate like that of OnePlus. Yet it's quite impressive. Room for improvements - since the phone didn't have image stabilization. It needs to shoot videos at steady hands. But it works much much better than those phones available in market without iOS. If you aren't an extensive heavy gamer - don't stop yourself from getting one. It's quite impressive.... yet you must have your own specs that you look for in a new phone.... This one ticks all my boxes.... 8GB Ram is worth it. Below 30K, I doubt this is a clear winner for me.

I am also a mi 9t/k20 user but i never saw those problem without camera problem & it happened in low light so software use main sensor use main sensor for good reasult but telephoto lens work in good light

Fingerprint sensor is best. If you use first 4-7 days their is issue. But after regular use of fingerprint sensor it open my phone after every touch. So make regular use of fingerprint sensor.

Swipe up to unlock is batter than power switch to unlocking bcz it's prevent accidentally pressing power switch in our pocket and pop-up camera will not come out in k20

Xiaomi has done great in face unlock with pop up camera because of the pop up camera, everytime we press the power button the camera will come out unnecessarily in realme.

I am not sure about what Mi does but in an iPhone the software decides when the telephoto lens is used, under average lighting conditions even iPhone doesn't use the telephoto lens but under good light it uses it and the reason is that telephoto lens generally has a high aperture.

Tip - You don't have to press power button to activate fingerprint scanner!! Just put your finger directly on the sensor

As a user I'm really happy with this product☺️ got really good processor, the camera works fine, it charges really quickly( as compared to earlier times ), gaming is Excellent, the looks also awesome. It's doing fine with the present scenario ☺️

To check camera go to about phone and tap kernel version and check camera

Telephoto lens used. Data captured from that sensor is used along with other lens. The feed from that lens is not available on screen so you don't see any difference even if you cover it.

Just to let u know guys the telephoto lenses is in use it's not just for depth sensing it's like as it has very small aperture that is 2.4 the cameras algorithm automatically instead of using telephoto uses main camera as it gives much much better low light performance as anyway the telephoto shots crappy photo in indoor lighting main camera has better photos but as U shoot with zoom lenses in broad daylight or outdoors the telephoto lenses is used. Also many flagships like iPhones and galaxy's do this in low light so not a big issue tsshis part of video is miss leading Incase U want to know more go check out technology jocks video over this

The only problem I found is the pop up camera mechanism making weird sound when the security feature occurs.

Considering this phone .But I have used Redmi note 4 and internet is very slow in that phone. Other phones used to give 1 MBps but rn4 got stuck at 100-200 KBps . Does the issue even persist with k20 pro? Please let me know. Thanks.

Another point should be noted(I'm a K20 user) During always on display, except WhatsApp, miss calls, KZfaq, no other apps are shown in the always on display.

You have to know about the camera issue,it's not a problem every single phone with telephoto lens does this so first you have to clear your own conception

Are there any other problems with the pop-up camera mechanism? Like does it oepn on its own while in pocket/bag etc? And do you guys think it's durable?

As per Manu kumar jain, they are planning to expand more in offline markets. So, if we consider your last feedback, which will lead to permanent price increase to compensate offline costs. To be fair the fingerprint unlock seems to be about the same as the Samsung A70, it's accurate, just a little slower, and is anyone in that much of a hurry? So many phones use glass backs nowadays, it may be a downside to some people but a $/£/€ case fixes that. And for the ads, simply flash a different version of the ROM, there are so many. For the price, it's still a damn good phone

Bro telephoto camera only works in "portrait" option. You can put your finger on telephoto camera and toggle portrait option n you'll get your result. On the other hand i don't think the problems you are nentioning are even problems.

in low light telephoto lens does not work... bring the phone in light then test again... and this thing is also happend in Samsung.. try this...

What actually does not make sense is you pointing all those features out, slamming Redmi over and over again when actually the price is not premium ! For its price range its way better than any other phone in that same category. You Indians are making reviews okay good, how come all those Europeans got nothing to complain as such as much as you are in this video. You expect someone to make you a phone for 10k Rs with absolute best in each and every feature. C'mon dude be realistic. For a non flagship phone you need to judge it from a non flagship POV. There's a difference between a flagship and a flagship killer. This phone is even better than lots of flagship phones in terms of performance, speed, ram, battery, display and even camera. Respect it.
