Okey this video is reassuring, surely im not putting my phone anywhere near any source of water, but to think it will survive being submerged for a long time fills me with relief.

Bet. It is just a dry water so basically dry water does not allow electricity to flow that's why the phone being submerged survive don't trust any kind of human haha

Es verdad este video, yo tengo el Xiaomi redmi note 12 y si es resistente al agua. Estuve jugando carnaval con unos amigos y me cayó varios valdés con agua a mi y a mi celular y no se hizo absolutamente nada. Mi redmi note 12 funciona normal al 100%, así que si alguien tiene un Xiaomi redmi note 12 o 12s sientanse seguros de la lluvia o por accidente cae al agua no se malograra todo funcionará al 100% bien y sin fallas, estoy feliz de tener mi redmi note 12.

That should just tell you to not even dare to get in touch with water even if it's Water resistance. IT'S AN ELECTRONIC STUFF and read the warning with both of your eyes. IP53 waterproof on phones is a joke, you don't know what angle is the standard for IPx3 waterproof level. And it will definitely be damaged if submerged in water because it does not meet the IPX6 standard
