No it usually has a small rubber piece behind the mic hole, the microphone is usually behind or above that rubber piece. But if you are concerned try recording audio and see if that microphone sounds damaged

On the regular version it's plastic, but on the pro it's glass - a shame it doesn't have wireless charging though
