After using the note 8 for a week here's my take: Pros 1. Display screen is massive 2. Battery is more than adequate. After repeated use it is yet to drain in a 24 hour window. 3. Hardware is awesome. Response time to sensors, screen input, camera etc are super fast. Cons 1. I do not like the MIUI. This is where the Korean's are great at tuning their one ui. 2. Vibration in silent mode does not alert the user in anyway. 3. Do not use themes. It made my notification on the lock screen to disappear. Had to reset the phone all over again. 4. Speaker is not too loud. It's just OK.
