I really enjoyed this series! Selfishly, I enjoyed it a little more so as I recently nabbed one in near-mint condition myself. Its the top game in its genre.

My heart raced as sarge woke up... and faced a bunch of green skins dropping their dirty pants... Looks like you truly buggered now... well you will be soon enough... and in the last of the dying flames of a distanced torch screaming could be heard...giggles.

AHQ: Amazing dungeon generation, but really needed a higher quality hero generation system. A low strength cowardly dwarf should have the option to be a class suited to such stats -- as life would have taught them!

There's a fan made variant of Advanced Heroquest called Advanced Heroquest Reforged. It adds more control and variety when creating heroes and also adds more depth to the overall gameplay. If you enjoy the base game you'd probably also enjoy the fan made content too

Great story. I recently got my original version of Advanced HeroQuest out to introduce it to my daughter. I got a Demogorgon that will be the boss as she's a big fan of the show.

This was the perfect accompaniment to assembling my new Chaos Warriors. I spent countless hours as a youngster solo delving into the dungeons of the old world, glad to see the torch is still being carried!
