so this video is a little bit late, the domain hasn't been kind to me :(
gonna keep farming this though as i'm sure more dendro characters will keep coming out and the elemental reactions are SUPER fun!
i hope the seelie event is almost fully out, kinda wanna record that and chill with it for a bit, do some rambling etc!
started doing a little bit of exploring but still not sure if I wanna wait for the entirety of sumeru to come out or if I want to do it in parts. 100% exploration is going to be nuts either way!
i was also told there's a SUPER LONG world quest, with the aranara I believe? might record it for the 2nd channel! but uhhh yeah I'm worried it's going to take literally forever so I'm not 100% sure
that's all! had a lot of fun trying out dendro and can't wait to try all the other reactions too!

the traveller was the first character I got to level 90, now with them being able to use dendro I have no regrets :)

My advice on building these characters (tldr version): - Dendro lumine likes EM a lot, but ALSO likes crit. you could use an EM or ER sands if you wanted to, but not full EM really - Kuki absolutely works full EM with dendro, especially if a hydro unit is also on the team! I won’t get into how those reactions work, but they’re perfect for her

Kuki is amazing because she constantly procs an electro status on surrounding enemies - and Dendro cores. She basically provides free, constant damage in a hydro/dendro team.

@@shinisnotonfire Yes but it is pointless unless you go a full EM build on Raiden. It works and you get 20-24k hyperblooms but at the cost of Raiden's burst damage. It is solid but not really better than her pre-existing comps. If you don't have Kuki you could also go with Beidou or Fischl with an anemo driver. Beidou's burst will never target the cores so your anemo (who likely already has a full EM build) will be the hyperbloom trigger by swirling electro. Oz can trigger the cores but it doesn't happen often so it works similarly to running Beidou.

@@shinisnotonfire Raiden is terrible for hyperbloom because you have to build her like Shinobu - EM/EM/EM - which doesn't work since Raiden really needs minimum 220+ ER to maintain her burst uptime

@@Nowaylarry oh... right, god i keep forgetting you still need EM for all of those reactions. well, my original raiden build has around 150 EM for some reason while still having other solid stats, so that's something? i think can easily get a separate set for her focused on EM specifically for the hyperbloom team, i just wanted to know if her skill works fine for that

unwritten rule of genshin: it's almost impossible to get a goblet with matching element damage bonus. I've gotten one dendro goblet and that was a boss drop. It rolled decently tho so I can't complain.

5:03 It does need crit rate crit dmg. The green set is the support set that needs em and er (and maybe crit rate for Favonios users) while the black set is the main dps set that needs crits, em, and atk%.

@@RednasYo Also the green set for Lumine is good if your main dps is Dendro or if you play Hyperbloom or Bergeon reaction teams because the set reduces Dendro resistance of enemies. But if your main dps does not deal dendro damage, then I recommend using the other sets like Emblem of severed fate or Noblesse oblige etc.

@@skykeeper7711 Agreed. I am running 4pc noblesse on her since she is the only dendro character I am using. She still does decent damage thanks to spread but the main thing is she is buffing the team further and has 200% ER. Though 220% might be slightly more consistent. I only have one Fav sword so she is using Sac. If you have a really good set of it, you could also run 4pc Instructors. It is a great buff for dendro comps.

19:59 that piece is much better than you think. Energy recharge for dendro mc is really useful cuz her burst costs 80 and she doesnt have very good particle generation, and because of her passive, she gets some dmg buffs based on the quantity of em she has; em can also be useful if you're proccing spread in spread teams. So yea, put crit rate as a main stat in all of that and you got a decent circlet... as a starter that is.

23:58 Ok not a pro but I think I got it down: Quicken is just like freeze where you need to reapply it and then Spread (attack with Dendro) and Aggravate (attack with Electro) are just like vaporize and Melt so you want Crit Atk etc. Bloom (Dendro+Hydro=Seed), Hyperbloom (Seed + Electro) and Burgeon (Seed+Pyro) are like Swirl where the Electro or Pyro Character just needs a lot of EM and a high level to do dmg Tried to explain in Razor Language hope its helpful ehe

Honestly I've gotten more pyro/cryo goblets farming dendro than I have in the last few months just farming in general so my older characters are loving the farming I've been doing. My problem is now I need three dendro goblets for current (and future) characters and boy is it hard to get any! Love the video and hope that your future farming goes better and you get that dendro cup/crit circlet you need to make Lumine the Queen she is!

Dendro traveler is my fav version of them by far They're so good as dendro support My lumine's dendro artifacts are scuffed as well but I temporarily gave her emblem + sac sword and used her with Raiden and Mona By far the most fun team I've used

Great vidoe Rednas, your videos are always so chill I love them! So far I didn't get any good artifacts from this domain either :( Btw, I only started using Lumine when dendro came out, I don't use her normal attacks, but I think the talent level of the normal attacks should stay the same in all elements. I get the thing with the skill and burst because they are different with each element, but the normal attacks are the same so why do people need to level them again in a different element? About dendro reactions: quicken works kinda like superconduct - it lowers resistance to dendro and electro. After enemy is quickened the next element you hit it with (dendro or electro) will deal more damage. Quicken + dendro = spread (more dendro damage). Quicken +electro =aggravate (more electro damage)

No. It works like Shenhe or Yun Jin's buffs. It adds a flat damage number into the damage formula (based on the level and EM of the character). It basically gets added to your talent scaling so it is before elemental damage bonus or crit is factored in. Because of this it is also effected by enemy resistances. Spread and Aggravate also only effect the damage of attacks that actually apply dendro or electro so a character with fast elemental application will benefit more from the reactions. Superconduct is just resistance shred.

It's not a resistance shred or else all electro/dendro characters would benefit equally. It does work like Shenhe/Yun Jin buff so that attacks with lower scaling (Keqing's ult) are buffed MORE than higher scaling attacks (Raiden's ult).

You inspired me to do a run or two and I got a 10% crit rate, 21% crit damage flower Gilded dreams set This video has improved the future of my dendro characters (Edit I also got an em sands with crit dmg and crit rate and it rolled somewhat decently but it’s part of the dendro dmg set)

I 100% recommend Fav or Sac on dendro Traveler. Their burst is the most important part of their kit and they need roughly 200% ER in order to burst on CD. You could alternatively run an ER sands if you have one that is better than the atk sands you currently have equipped. If you are playing them in one of the bloom related reaction comps they don't need EM as they typically won't be the one procing the reaction. They will want some EM in a quicken comp though. Regardless ER is the most important stat for dendro Traveler as the only reason they are good is the consistent dendro application. Depending on how many trash 5*s you have lying around you could try the artifact scam box for a dendro cup (I've gotten a few from it). Lastly, while she still isn't the best electro character (That would be Fischl), Keqing is actually rather good for quicken comps. Dendro buffed her pretty well. I'd rank her above Diluc at this point.

So, the only thing that really effects elemental reaction damage is EM and the level of the effect source (Usually, your character's level, the monster's level, or your world ascension level). Most other stats are just going to level the damage from the applying effect. Dendro reactions (except for burning) have a primary effect and a followup effect. Depending on what element hits third the followup effects are crazy but it gets very hard to control which elements are going to hit in what order if you use a bunch of persistent effects to create reactions.

Also, about elemental reactions: There are two types of elemental reactions: transformative and multiplicative Transformative reactions only scales with EM and the character's level and cannot crit (like overload or swirl for exemple) Multiplicative reactions (which aggravate, quicken and spread are) scales with both your attack, crit stats AND are stronger the higher your EM is.

One quick thing that i noticed, I thing Rednas has the artifact sets backwards. The deepwood memories is better on a support dendro character like Dendro MC and Collei because it lowers dendro res. Think of it has a dendro version of VV. The gilded dream set is the DPS set, to through on Tighnari and other to be released dendro DPS units. That doesn't mean you don't still want crit on the deepwood set, cause Dendro MC can still output a lot of damage with it, but ER is also super important for uptime. With gilded dream, you definitely want to prioritize standard DPS substats such as att%, CR, CD, and some EM.

As much as id like to explain all the dendro reactions to you, i think getting all the information across via youtube comments isnt ideal, zajef77 has some really comprehensive dendro reactions guides i think youd find helpful. also, relly looking forward to your full lumine build and great video as always, keep it up!

The hyperbloom reaction actually use EM from the character that triggered it, which is usually Kuki even though it is considered dendro damage so build full EM Kuki. My Kuki triggered around 20k each seed with 750+ EM. If you build full EM Mc, you don't need to level up her talent. Mine at lvl 1 all three because I'm using all my resin to farm the artifact and she still works great. 😆

You will still want to level their talents. Spread is a flat damage number (based on level and EM) that is added to your talent scaling. Regular bloom comps aren't really worth it until we get faster dendro appliers. Hyperbloom or Burgeon comps will have others triggering the reactions. Dendro MC doesn't really want a full EM build at all. You are 100% correct about Kuki though. She is great for hyperbloom. Though you can also trigger it by using an anemo character to swirl electro from Fischl or Beidou. Fischl will rarely target the seeds and Beidou's burst will never hit them, meaning you can easily control who the trigger is.

by the way I think it's probably worth mentioning, especially for a new set that has a 4 set bonus that is as good as it is (deepwood memories) it's probably worth lowering your artifact standards and mostly pay attention to mostly making them better than what the character already has edit: both two of the main deepwood characters currently, and a lot of the other random supports that would use them for team building reasons, want ER more than anything. (also attack%, especially when you don't have a lot already is comparable to crit) also keqing got a lot better with dendro, her cons didn't really though.
