Smash bros melee or pikmin, i pick luigi's mansion!

Problem: I spent a lot of time being exploratory and curious in Pikmin 2, which was really fun and rewarding, etc. so I barely even progressed in the story. I did get the Wii version of the first game, but I ended up just going back to the second because there was no major time limit so I felt more immersed and less pressed to finish the story. In fact, as a kid I loved the day system in the second game because it helped me keep track of how many hours I had poured into it. xD

whenever im about to buy a nintendo game i always check for the review of it on this channel

Even if the story is shallow-er than a kiddie pool, I do like the emotional moments in the diaries with Olimar missing his family. It's a sweet little read. This game is definitely one of my favorites!

I just read what was on pikmin wiki, 6 days is the record for Pikmin 1, 12 days is the record for Pikmin 2. Apparently, some players have found ways around needing to use blue pikmin in the Forest of Hope. I know it sounds ridiculous, but there's actually a walkthrough for it on gamefaqs.

It doesn't look like it, so until they find another site where I can upload my videos I'll just upload them here for the time being. Except for the ones that go on their channel anyways.

I know what you mean, one little reason this review took a while to get done was because it was hard for me to stop trying to get as many parts on day 2 as I could.

I never use any one else's footage (except for trailers of upcoming games), I always use my own footage.

I don't know if it was just me, but I was horrified the when I first saw the Smoky Prog. I didn't know exactly what it was, but nearly 50 pikmin were INSTANTLY killed when I tried bum-rushing it. That cemented it as my pikmin's worst nightmares

The scientist part of me loves how well this game represents nature. None of the enemies are really bad, they're just trying to survive. But it's survival of the fittest and that means they must die! F*cking snitch bugs.

About that Pikmin tripping thing that if i remember right in wii version, Pikmin trip less often.

I played and beaten Pikmin 1,2, and 3. And I just have to say. I do not regret these pay ten minutes. I love the Pikmin series above all else.

Sorry I haven't been on the WiiU for a while since my Gamepad was getting fixed, but right now I'm gonna start putting restrictions on who I accept especially if I don't know them that well.

Hmm tripping in pikmin 1. Bad idea. Tripping in smash bros brawl? Also bad idea. .......... Why did they not learn? Anyway that comment aside. I've watched this review so many times along with the second. Now that pikmin 3's delux version is out i've been on a spree all day and wanted to come back for yet another watch of my favorite review of the 3 games. My first experience with this game was .... less than ideal. (It was day 27 when I first got to the distant spring if that tells you anything.) I'm no speed runner of the game and the time limit truly does urk me, cause it feels like I don't have the time to really do what I want with the game. I still love the game, but definitely prefer 2 over this one for it's more laid back approach. But i'll save my praise for that game for when I get to the actual video.

I was pretty late to this party, as I didn't play Pikmin until... I dunno. 2007 or 2008, maybe? But I freaking LOVE it! So much charm and joy in this game! I agree that the Pikmin doing things on their own is annoying (and I usually end up yelling at THEM more than the enemies), but to me it's part of the charm! =)

The sad thing about those shroom pikmin is that your regular pikmin will actually kill them:(

It doesn't exactly say, but my best guess is when your walking on magnetic ceilings or walls with the Iron Boots.

There are certain tricks where you can (for example) finish the Forest of Hope in Day 2 without any Blue Pikmin. There are plenty of non-TAS videos showing it off.

12 days? Thats unbelievable. I play it once a year so I forget where things are and go through it blindly and always save days. Best is 19.

6 days? that isn't possible due to certain ship parts needing certain pikmin to obtain. given that you get every item you can get with the pikmin you have, 7 is the least amount of day possible to 100 % it. 1 in tutorial land, 2 on forest get yellow, 3 underground and blue, 4 finish tutorial island(need blue and yellow), 5 finish the forest(need blue), 6 giant pool(not sure how you can get all the pieces in 1 day), 7 final trial

That sucks. It also sucks, that nintendo doesn't yet sell additional gamepads, which makes replacing the broken gamepad difficult.

The only problem with the Wii version that I have is how they changed the bulborb sound but that is when I am being very nitpicky.

That probably would have been on QuarterGuy's list if this video came out at that point.

I think the worst thing is bridges pikmin can get stuck under a bridge and fall through the ground also the burrowing snagrets are nothing in pikmin 2 theres pileated snagrets(the have giant foots)and raging longlegs which can go on steroid fits

This game is not for me, It's my fault though, I'm not good at planning ahead and the time limit stress is killing me! But I loved the game itself.
