This looks awesome! I just finished redrawing my first marker drawing last night and was amazed at the improvement. I love other artists showing the progress they’ve made with redrawing their old art, it really helps show others how time and practice and experience are critical to art

That was a great video. Awesome reflection on the past, good humour as normal, relateable, and an awesome sonic to boot! I drew him a bunch when I was a kid too, but stopped drawing when I got to about 14-15 as other things took over my life. I miss it and wish I had kept it up more.

Im new to your channel and I really like you. Most KZfaqrs just draw In a timelapse and commenting something stupid, but you actually talk about what's happening on the screen in detailed parts, and I love that.!

Aww your rabbits are so cute! I love rabbits, my uncle used to breed them and they're such good pets. The sonic drawing was really nice, i love the minimalistic shading. Even the old one was good. Its actually such a coincidence that i got a pet hedgehog today and you uploaded a drawing of sonic drawing. Anyway great video and drawing!

I really like that you didn’t approach your redrawing with your pro-level stuff from today. It turned out pretty cool anyway. Sonics hands and shoes are really the tricky part. Never noticed that his shoes are this shiny. Ducks, bunnies - you are not about to build a ship in your backyard, aren’t you? 😉

I loved this drawing. You have taught me about art what my ninth grade teacher taught me about writing: it isn't supposed to be perfect the first time. That's what rewrite, or an eraser, is for. 😃 P.S. Love the bunnies--so adorable. But ducks are people, too!

I've always liked those "draw it again" challenges. Great job! At least you have improved. My drawings from 15 years ago still look like the ones i draw today just with some additional shading but still look flat.

A stabilo fineliner, Pelikan felt pens, and a standard HB pencil....yeah that's the school spirit. And then you erase until the paper rips apart xD
