5:29 In the original game, the train in the southern edge of the railway in Take a Ride (the one that appears in the video) is the one that absorbs the impact of the car and makes it brake without crashing; it's the other train, at the northern edge of the railway that will repel away with a violent crash the car you're driving with only touching it.

the fondness for the minicopper, that guy's first car, is pretty easy to explain, the thing was sort of the volkswaggen beetle of its time period, everyone had them and the could be souped up and turned into quite the little hotrods, but the downside of them was that because of the nature of the pressed steel construction, they rusted pretty easy and not alot survived. plus you wonder what on earth is a minicooper doing in havanah of all places too, so its a nice epitaph for the thing

I'm pretty sure the particular Mini that the secret car was based on was the "Rose" edition from 1989 since that was white with a pink roof.

Absolutely amazing video, my dear Vortex! I had no clue of the breaking lamp pole feature and it was amazing to know more about it. Can't wait for the beta release of OpenDriver as well! Thank you for using my artwork as well. I'm still shocked on how the community loves the artworks! I plan on doing more soon, just gotta find the time.

About #5, as the train on one side of the track won't push you back when hit, the train on the other side will push you back with double the regular force, so I guess they messed up something there!

I guess that it can be explained: The train on the Right side of the track will hit you and send you away because it was the first train car, as seen in the Beat The Train mission. The other train car, on the left side, wouldn't do so because no one would expect to simply do a head-on collision with the train car in the back. Therefore, it will just make you “fake-drive” on its rear.

gta 2 and driver 1 were my first games as a kid. I never played 2 because they didnt release it on pc

Je traduis les titres et les descriptions en français, et je fournis les sous-titres en anglais également, c'est donc très simple de les (auto-) traduire en français si jamais l'accent t'empêche de suivre ce que je dis!
