I've just started doing photography again after many years away from it.. Is there a specific online company that you would recommend for creating high quality prints? And would you do a video on packaging prints? Thanks so much

are your metalic papers considered archival ?

Our Photo Metallic papers are resin coated (RC) products. All RC papers today are what we call "Photo Grade". This includes any RC paper from any manufacturer. They are designed to resist fade with pigment inks for 50+ years. The paper itself will resist aging (under proper display and storage conditions) for longer than that. You contradicted your statement saying 1:32 “Giclee digital print on Archival paper with dye ink” While you also mentioned Pigment is archival ink and dye is not. I’m confused

This is part of the reason the term Giclee can be troublesome. At the highest level, giclee means a digital print. This excludes wet chemistry photo processing and offset printing. The more you zoom in on the meaning, the more rigid the definition becomes. For purists, it means museum grade paper printed with pigment based inks. Of course you will find plenty of people using archival papers (not 100% cotton museum grade) media with dye inks and calling them giclees. You're correct that we may need to be more specific about the definition in future videos.

lol "Giclée" is not a word. And there is no difference. Is there is such think as archival ink? Ink is so much worse than electrostatic.

It's a french word that can mean a few things, among them "spray" or "jet". Here's a bit more if you're interested - In 1991, American printmaker Jack Duganne coined the term "giclée" to describe digital prints made from the Iris printer, which was introduced in 1985. The term is based on the French word gicler, which means "to spray" or "jet". Duganne used the term to differentiate fine art prints from regular commercial prints, which are made using the Iris printer for proofs. T
