I’ve been following you guys on Instagram since the beginning of the year and quickly fell in love with your messages. I stumbled upon this series on KZfaq and it has hit home so hard for me. “You’re not crazy.” “You are not alone.” “This is not how your story will end.” What I wouldn’t give to have heard this years ago while battling anxiety and depression multiple times. Just to know someone else has ever felt the way I did. This message just hits me right in the heart, thankful I found this series!

I just want to say thank you for sharing your story I thought I was the only one going through this I’ve been in battling with panic, attack, depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts for a long time, all my life and it’s been really bad the last year I was thinking of ending my life I just want the pain to stop and I went on KZfaq and I saw your videos that I’ve been looking at your videos for a while for a couple weeks and I just wanna tell you thank you because you in my life God is using your story to help others thank you Pastor bless you

I messed up age 17-50. I had gave my heart to Jesus at age 8. I have loved Jesus for as long as I remember. But I messed up. I dealt with depression and anxiety since childhood. I still have health anxiety. I am almost 68, and even though I am not what I was, I can't see what God can do with me. I so want to share the love of God. I feel like at my age there is nothing left. I hurt my boys with my lifestyle in the 70's and 80's. Now they won't talk to me except to ask for money. I just don't know what to do.

Shawn, Thank you for not giving up! God really speaks to me through your messages, all of them.(and I cry through them all too-thanks lol) I can relate to you so much. I struggle with depression and anxiety. I watch your sermons every morning. I see things differently now! Thank you for being real. God is good. And he keeps his promises 💗

I stumbled upon this Sermon today, and boy did it hit home. I battle with an anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and depression. For the longest time I kept it inside just HOW bad it was. And then one day, I had a breakdown. I know what it feels like to be in a room full of your loved ones, yet feel completely alone. To struggle doing daily things like shower, or get dressed, or pickup my house. To have days where even the thought of getting out of bed and facing they day exhaust me. Thank you so much for bringing mental health to the table. I wish more church’s spoke on this. Thank you for the reminder of how much God loves us, even in our brokenness!

This message popped up on my feed for a reason! Depression and anxiety is problematic in our family. Thank you Shawn for be vulnerable and transparent with the journey your on. God bless you for be a vessel of healing for all needing hope!

Amazon will be delivering my book tomorrow, I cant wait. Ive been in such a dark place for so long, so many years, but recently things have gotten so much darker. Idk why, nothing bad has happened, I just finally seen how pathetic my life really is. I never thought I would even consider suicide but lately its all I think about. I have PTSD, severe panic disorder, chronic depression, anxiety disorder. I dont leave my house, havent in a really long time, and im just miserable, and I make everyone around me miserable. I believe God led me to see this series and for the first time as I listened to you I heard someone say exactly how I feel, exactly what my life is really like. You saying what you have has truly saved me and I immediately ordered the book with hopes that it will help me to see the reasons I have to not give up. Thank you

This message hit me more than addressing my own anxiety, fired up something else in me that switched my focus from my own anxiety to praying for someone I know who’s suffering just like you pastor. And I didn’t even go to war for him! The conviction was real… I’m so thankful for God using this message to recalibrate my focus from off my self to this huge issue I knew about.

I started battling anxiety, depression and ADHD seven years ago,have been suicidal I feel empty and misunderstood l pray God to heal me and make me His vessel. Dear Shawn, God has plans for you! Our childhoods laid a road for us to be strong for today’s trails. I’ve sent your videos to my sisters. We’re struggling and your message is getting us through. One sister is going through dementia. One has dementia, one is separating from her husband after 52 years, my youngest sister, went to help the oldest sister and what a struggle she had to go through, away from home and loved ones. Me, 1 year of grieving, 50 years of marriage, with me praying for strength and fighting anxiety. Your sons picture in the hospital, tears me up, l lost my husband in 3 days after a heart surgery went wrong. I couldn’t leave his side. 2 weeks prior to this, l saw your first anxiety video, because of you, l had 2 weeks of my husband finally being to that point of: l was wrong, lm sorry, do you forgive me. I finally figured out why l couldn’t stop ruminating over our failing marriage, your video gave me that knowledge to encourage him to realize this needed to be said. He thought he shouldn’t be forgiven! We had a healing 2 weeks before he died. I can’t imagine what my life would be like now without that. God used you to heal us. The struggle is real. Our childhood trauma, you and me and my sisters, struggle and our getting to a place where we can stand together and fight theses struggles together. I’m sending this series to them, today.God is using you to help us. We’re broken, but standing strong and listening to your words, sending us Gods’ message.
