Its most about dynamic range (i mean iphone have really good software editor while xiaomi sucks and you have to install gcam)

2 redmi phones in 1 year

I bought redmi 4 four yrs ago and they already on their 12th one 😭

I buy iphone 12 pro max for 1.300€ and now i cant even sell it at 950€...

that's just unfortunately the reality when buying budget phones, but for most people it's definetly better having all these cheap budget phones constantly released even if it means their older one wont resale for as much, at least we don't have to pay an arm and a leg(like people do for apple or samsung etc) and we still get performance on a similar level just in cheaper plastic with worse cameras or finger print sensors/screens etc.

Exactly, not bad at all. Except for the dynamic range the Redmi actually looks better in some photos which is shocking considering it's cheaper than an iPhone 13 screen repair.

Not even close. I am a victim of this Cheap android alternatives hype. I bought the Redmi Note 9s in 2020 the 6gb variant and tried to use it as my daily driver. After a yr of usage, it is now sluggish, battery is shitty that I run out of battery one time while I was out and forgot to bring my charger and powerbank, can’t even sell it and now it’s as good as junk. Meanwhile my brother is still rocking his Iphone 7 and is also playing max setting of Genshin in his Iphone 8 and how old are those phones now? With that, I switched back to Iphone 13 and will never go back to any of these cheaper alternatives hype. Iphones are overpriced yes, but for the quality, I can overlook that, especially if I can use it for a lot of years and after years of usage I can still sell it at a decent price before I upgrade. Call me an Isheep but that’s just my opinion as someone who ditched the android OS. Also might I add that MIUI is absolutely HORRENDOUS.

@@cekuhnen batteries tend to go weaker but how weak are we talking here? My Xiaomi which is 1 yr old has a big battery at 5020mAh, I work from home so I usually dont notice the battery life as I am charging most of the time when my battery reaches 50% but one time when I went out to do some errands, I went outside at 11AM my Xiaomi died on me at 4PM when it’s not even being used, like it’s literally just on sleep mode with the cellular data and bluetooth on and it freaking died on me. By the time I went home, I couldn’t even use it to call or text someone to pick me up so I had to take a cab since I didn’t drive that day. Never had that issue with my iphones. Also most android phones I have even the galaxy series tend to go sluggish after a year, not sure if it’s because of the exynos chip and not the SD variant or is it bec the apps aren’t optimized that much like in IOS or they just really become sluggish, I dont really know.

@@cekuhnen also just adding that since Ipads are the best in tablet market as they have more pro apps like Affinity photo, Affinity Designer, Luma Fusion etc, I am using the Ipad pro so that’s also one of the reasons why I went back to iphone just so I can take advantage of the ecosystem. Now, most of my android phones are just used for media consumption and unimportant stuff as I can’t sell them at a decent price and even at lower price it’s pretty hard to sell them unlike iphones. Let’s admit it, Apple has way better longevity than android phones, though they suck at customizations and most of the time they fall behind when it comes to new features but reliability and longevity wise, you can’t go wrong with an iphone.

It comes down to how much one wants to spend for a phone. Last year's Note 10 was better than this...but people want the "latest"
