Namaste, We are Shirish and Pooja
and Welcome to a Raw Banana / Ash Plantain Episode of ‪@RedSoilStories‬
Pooja and I had gone to market, while returning back home I noticed an ash plantain / raw banana. Pooja told me that we also have raw bananas ready to be harvested to make raw banana recipe.
We returned home and I cut the bunch of Banana and gave it Pooja.
These ash plantain/ banana are different variety of banana which are harvested raw and eaten by preparing various dishes out of it.
Pooja then decided to prepare Raw banana Kofta curry and Rava Banana Fry for Lunch.
Raw banana curry is a lengthy recipe but it is very flavorful , it can be eaten with bhakri, roti etc.
Pooja prepare both Lunch recipes and We enjoyed the lunch together.

राजा अन् मोगली मात्र खरच हो नशीबवान, पूजाच्या हातचं मिळतं त्यांना पदार्थ छान छान.... आम्ही मात्र फक्त पाहूनच पोट भरतो, घरातच उदरभरणंम करताना लाल मातीलाच स्मरतो.... एका दमात निर्णय घेता आज काय करायचे जेवणाला, भेंडी करायची म्हटली तरी आम्हांस आठवडा लागतो निर्णयाला.... केळी विशेष भन्नाटच मनापासून आवडले, केळी कोफ्ता, केळी फ्राय तोंडास मात्र पाणी सुटले....(अहाहा..!!) (पूजा, नेहमीप्रमाणेच...सुंदर पाककृती...कल्याणमस्तु....!!)

Red soil मधले सर्व रेसीपी video अगदी पारंपारिक रित्या बनवल्या जाते. ते बघून कधी कधी कोकणात यावे वाटते. कारण आम्ही मराठवाडय़ातील नांदेड येथील रहिवासी आहोत. कोकण विशेष प्रेम आणि कोकणी मानस खूप मृदू स्वभावाचे जसे कोवळी शहाळी.

दोन्ही recipe माझ्या आवडत्या कच्च्या केळीचे कापं आमच्या घरी सर्वांना आवडतात कोफ्ता करीही मी करते केळ्याचे काप थोडेसे वाफवून त्याला मीठ मसाला लावून बेसनाच्या भजी सारख्या पीठात कालवून भजी तळायची खूप छान लागतात

very good, you are good at handling knife. But I use potato skin peeler to skin the banana.. In fact you can use peeler for almost anything where you need to remove skins( Apple, bread fruit, papaya, raw mango etc.)
