Hello Mike. Thank you for your video. I have been trying to get Erodium cicutarium seeds for some time now without any luck. I would love to grow some in my edible weed garden. Would you be able to send me some seeds. I would pay you for your help. I know that this is an unusual request but I just cannot seem to locate any. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Send me an email about it and I'll start looking. I have not seen a lot of them at that stage recently but if you keep bugging me through email, I am happy to send some. mike @ wild utah edibles.com (without all the spaces of course)

You are being very inconsiderate and harmful if you plant this and introduce it to an area not yet infested by it. Don't do it! It is VERY invasive and chokes out native plants. It's taking over our wild lands and is a disaster. Along with other plants people think are "so pretty" such as spurge. No we have "purge the spurge" days and still don't even make much of a dent into the problem. Please, don't plant this!

Red stem fillary might be edible but it an obnoxious and hard to kill noxious weed that if i caught my neighbors introducing into the local biome they would get a righteous beating. The plant releases a hormone that inhibits growth of desirable cultivars and when dried and beforr the seed seperates from the plant can cause issues with animals getting into thwir paws and soft tissues of the face. It shoots the seed pods @11-15 feet from the "mother plant" and the hairs drill the seed into the ground like oats do with changes in humidity. There's plenty of actually benificial weeds to eat that this should be left alone and NOT introduced into biomes that it isnt currently found. People trying to "do good" have introduced noxious weeds in places that theres no natural predation or means of control which unbalances the biome. Cheat grass, kudzu, morning glory and a whole host of nonnative noxious weeds have taken over and ruined the native plants ability to contribute to the local flora and fauna. Plead for the love of all that is holy stop playing johnny appleseed withbnoxioys weeds. This is from a person who foes forafe and use weeds amd plants for medicine and food.

A nasty weed, tough to kill and destroys everything around it. Want you pasture or lawn ruined, this plant will do it..
