In his novel "The Idiot" by Dostoevsky, a character asks: "What beauty will save the world?" I think that, maybe not the whole world, but with this video, you've saved some souls!

What makes you a complete organist is the standard of your hymn playing which is the first and foremost ingredient of a true organist. You are playing with reverence and dignity and the tempo and legato touch are perfect. You are playing the words and varying the registration between verses, something which is sometimes sadly overlooked by some organists. I always find having a Christian faith gives you the inspiration to play hymns, which are prayers. You are a complete star, Matt and I am sure you receive so many compliments. I am certainly complimenting you to the highest degree as you are a shining example of what any potential church organist show aim for. You will receive many blessings for praising God with your music in this video because it is form of evangelism.

I can feel that organ bench vibrating. Whatever the downside of KZfaq, this only goes to prove how it can be used for a positive purpose. Talent is a gift, but to perfect it requires hours of hard work. The pleasure your playing brings to people is a reflection of that effort.

Wonderful selection….takes me back to the days when I used to regularly play a number of them. It was as mostly on the piano, but I got to play some on church organs too!

My church has the typical band for “music…’. I bought a church organ and I play my HYMNS at home. This video is amazing; love it.

I was watching and listening to this beautiful video in my bed and eventually fell asleep with those beautiful notes playing, it don’t get any better than that, your music sending a habitual insomniac into a beautiful sleep. Thank you Matt, I did watch and listen the very next day and enjoyed every second of your beautiful performance. God bless you always. 🎼🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎼❤️

You play so beautifully. As a church musician myself, I enjoy your playing immensely. I also love what you are doing with the organ that is so new and different….especially the music of ABBA and the combination of classical and secular music. Keep sharing your music!

Love your playing. I struggle playing the piano and Tell out my soul for some reason find particularly hard. I wish I could play the organ with all the feet notes aswell. I can just about play with the written notes but would love to be able to change key. I guess I should have learnt my scales more lol

That was a stunning arrangement of some beautiful old hymns. I always tear up when I hear Abide with me, I played it for my Mum after Dads funeral. You have a really bright future ahead of you Matt, glad to have been at the start of it. Look forward to following your musical career as it gets huge 🤪

Well done & thank you so much for making the music come alive as it should ! Sadly in so many of our Cathedrals & great Churches it has become a sort of maths correct but no joy in it. You enjoy what you do & it shows .
