Жыл бұрынA vehicle crash in the Pine Barrens leads to a missing teen which raises conspiracy theories about the infamous Jersey Devil legend. On the anniversary of the crash, Sarah Franklin, convinced her cousin Kelsey is alive, goes out to the crash site with Alex, Kelsey's boyfriend, to investigate. Things go downhill quickly as Sarah and Alex uncover what really lurks in the woods.

Ay! Another film with Midnight Studio FX. I bought 2 of the werewolves (seen here) and four of the goblins from Horror High film. Had them for years and still use them. Super good quality and surprisingly cheap. I'm geeking out here.

REEDS POINT. Was this movie based on a true story? Legend has it, that some of these folk laws are real. Especially back in the old days when people wanted to get other peoples estate. It's just like those cowboys and Indians movies, back in the days.

Alot of these spooky stories/urban legends have truth to them, it will have changed through Time as all stories get bit forgot or added but I've found alot have beginnings in fact, check out JENNIFER'S BODY, a band did actually inspire that movie they killed a girl as sacrifice to make them famous and repeatedly went back to the body to "do things " anyway example right there 😉

Don't know which was worse. The fact that I tried to piece together a story with so many holes in it that a chunk of Swiss cheese would be embarrassed or that I was insane enough to watch until the end hoping it would actually get better? I don't know perhaps if you're just into meaningless cheap thrills and you're OK with 2+2=5 you might enjoy it.

It's instinct. And deer do a lot of damage. My friend hit one with an f-250 equipped with crash bar and winch (farm country) and the damage was extensive and expensive.

I grew up in the Philly suburbs. When young, we did the shore and clubbing thing in Jersey. We all knew about the Jersey Devil legend. Actually, its probably the best thing about overcrowded Jersey. We live in De. now. Can see Jersey from accross the River. I know he's out there, best stay away from the pine barrens 😈

This movie was so vague. I don't understand the ending or why she was kept alive. Nor do I know if Eric was a bad guy or forced into helping that couple. And who killed the cop and the woman at the end? Idk, I feel quite dissatisfied. Too many questions, and not enough answers.

The only decent twists associated with this shipwreck were the pretzels that I downed during the very long 30 mins. I endured watching......I`ll trust you on the ending...it`ll take the Jersey Devil to drag me to the end of this Oscar-winner....

So, the jersey devils were allies of the Franklins. Makes sense according to the plot. They killed anyone they perceived as a threat to the family. Cool concept, but the movie should have explained it better. Everything was so vague and felt rushed. I still enjoyed it, though.

Based on a true story . Bodies found torn in half . As if something picked the person up . And ripped them in half like string cheese . And a unknown saliva on the victims of no cataloged animal . The allure of secrecy. We cannot give an explanation to the secret and then the secret will continue to linger in the realm of possibilities - once the secret is revealed it will cease to be a secret. We can interpret that the action takes place in the mind of the viewer or in the mind of the character - how the girl disappears will remain a secret due to the death of the lady and thus the secret of the Jersey Devil is kept in the supernatural. The Jersey Devil has feelings for Kelsi.
