Reef update - Soft corals getting massive plus the most aggressive coral you can put in your tank.

People have been asking for an update on the reef. Everything is growing out of control. We'll take a look at the cube getting stuffed. We'll also update Poppy's adventure. Poppy is a large saddle back puffer or valentini puffer that started eating the plate corals. We'll also look at the toadstool leather growing arms. BTUFF

Love your tank. Beauty. What truly stands out for me is it is perfectly of the opposite end of the current 'sterilized' look, which looks so unnatural. I had a toadstool coral in my 150 gallon reef in the '80s that was the size of one of yours; dominated the tank as the centrepiece, beautifully :)

I don't test my water. And I used high iron water and fx 4 canster fitter and 3 hang fitters. On a 150 gals. I have big fish few small s. I have v tail grooper red. Eat the fish. Tangs and angel s are cool

Man, I lost a purple monster zoa colony... or i thought i did... 6 months things came out of nowhere and took off. Them Fiji yellows grow really well in higher nitrates and phosphates ive found, yours is takin off, i wouldnt change a thing man!! BTW those Pandoras will eat up all kinds of space in your tank.... crazy weeds man be careful with em.

If you are not doing water changes, are you dosing? If so, what are you dosing? Or just running the sea labs?

the sea labs have the trace elements built in.

When was ur.last water change. how often do U change or do U only top up Everytime I water change I get red cyno

If your skimmer is working good, you shouldn’t need to. I use the sea lab blocks to replenish calcium and trace. You can also use Kent’s essential elements. I go about a year with no changes. Maybe more.

That’s not an elegance it’s a Galaxia. And you can actually cut the stinger tentacles when they get too long, I’ll do it with flow on and out a net so that the flow just pushes it into the net, but it won’t hurt the coral one bit and they need a trimming every so often.
