well reef dork i think all your tanks were and are fab wish i could do as well in my DD cube its newly setup from the last cube that went wrong with algae in a big way. i think i fed too much and the tank design was bad, with no filtering out the of the crap as the outflow pipes to the sump were flush with the glass so no filter socks roller mat ect. the new tank has a dd clarisea fitted so im hoping onwards and upwards and happy new year to you.

Great video, im just curious of why the move was so hard? It's much easier to take everything out of a tank and put it in buckets. I've moved 3 saltwater tanks like that, the biggest was 125 gallons.

Just a question since you have like 20 wrasse: Will a Male Naoko wrasse become a supermale even if it’s the only wrasse in the tank? Or do they have to have female wrasse of the same type in the tank? Another question about wrasse (again): The wrasse is in a tank with: Copper band (a very aggressive eater) Foxface (magnificent) A pair of black photon (1 juvenile and 1 mother acting clown) Blue eyed tang Maybe going to have an emperor (juvenile) Could I put other wrasse (Halichoeres, Cirrhilabrus or a Scott’s fairy) and if so what wrasse would you recommend it with? I.e. females only or a mix? (It’s only a 4’x2’x2’ so the fish that’ll get too big will be traded in for either a different fish or another of the same but smaller)
@ReefDork
@ReefDork 4 жыл бұрын
No idea about the supermale but I'd be a little bit cautious adding other fairy wrasses. I think it'll be OK but they can be a little aggressive at times so I'd keep asking until you find someone who's done it.

It’s a great way for us subs to get to chat with you and get to chat with each other. I would love to see a Reef Dork Server run by some of your own subs. Just a suggestion tho :)
