Thank you. Really enjoy your show (and I am in North Texas, but frequent Tampa and Islamorada in the summer). Watching you reel in the kite, in the rain, and having seen many broken fishing rigs hanging off power lines near bridges, do you think Benjamin Franklin would have been safer if he used a top (or bottom) shot of either mono, or fluorocarbon fishing line? :) Kite's aren't cheap, but if I didn't have that reeled. and stowed. before the storm hit, I would have had to cut that line (maybe chased down the kite). Been in some serious storms, where the fishing rods started to crackle in the rod holders from all the static electricity (immediately beached the boat on an island, drove the lower unit into the sand, tossed out the anchor on the beach,, and abandoned boat... The "young Geezers" survived, and still won the tournament (Striper on Lake Texoma 2007), No place to hide offshore.
