Wow that is amazing information. We've been curious about the tape cleaning process but now you have demonstrated it very well. Since we made hundreds of half-inch videos from 1970 on, we will benefit greatly from this tip. Thank you!

I had to do that on a couple of audio reel to reel tapes. I had to get the mold off of the tapes. I used the same T-shirt method but went between the tape and the side of the tape reel (saw it on another KZfaq video) using a very dilute vinegar and water solution. Once that dried, I baked the tapes in a food dehydrator. That worked very well and managed to get the audio off of both tapes.

Well we found out the hard way that for music tape baking is a bad idea. I plan on making a video on it. Thanks for your video. Luv your energy🤗
