When you only have $20 to get all of your fishing gear you know its going to be a struggle. If you can't negotiate you wont be able to fish! It's all about trying to get the best deal possible and best gear that is in your budget. Then putting it to the test and catching fish with it. 🤙

😂 to defend my decision, I primarily fish off of a boat and the challenge only only included 1 hour of fishing. Most of my shore fishing is done off cliffs and require further cast. If it was bags of 5 pieces of lead I would have went with something much lighter but since it seemed like 50 pieces I needed something I could use in the future. 🤙🏽 😂

I don’t pay more than £10 for my reels. All 8 of my penn squidders were £5 each. All solid after rebuild and clean.

The guide was broken an definitely would have cut the line so I took the entire guide and wrap off. I could cast pretty far with that set up but the reel had 0 drag at all 🤣 🤙🏽

For the most part everyone treats everyone like family here. Its definitely like when you are in the mainland and call someone Sir. Its out of respect and a Hawaii way of doing it. Hawaii is a different type of place. 🤙
