i wonder how many current nashville ( or LA) recording artists could just spontaneously fill the air in a room like that with acoustic picking and singing? not many. steve's voice is in top form here, beautifully done.

I always loved Steve Earle, my favorite artist of any style, so glad to know he believes in Jesus Christ, he lived a rough life, but he wouldve never written that song if he didnt know in his heart that Jesus was real. God bless Steve and his family. Talent, on top of talent when it comes to Steve

I know Steve Earle underplays it, it he’s actually a brilliant guitar player. Anyone who plays knows how difficult it is to do this and it’s entirely his own style imo.

My favorite interview of early ones ❤I love Steve and no one has worked harder to get recognized in the music world . Glad he stuck it out and is still around. A great song writer.
