Have you tried gyro flow yet? It's free and works just as good but takes a little more finesse.

Noticing if I scrub through the timeline to quickly the app *CRASHES* . Have recreated this multiple times now...wondering if you've heard from anyone else on this. This is on a WINDOWS 10 OS (and not MAC). This is GoPro Player released yesterday (vs vs 2.0.1.1456). Anyone else experience this yet? My PC runs a bunch of other apps without an issue as I edit videos myself. I can run Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, OBS, etc without an issue. Def. seems to be a bug in the new release....perhaps Windows specific?

Hopefully that gets worked out. I have not tried it on a PC yet.

@@AdventureFPV yeah, thinking it’s PC specific. Also, can you confirm you have a Pro-res option in the apple version. Because it’s CINEFORM , HEVC, and H.264 only in Windows version. No ProRes in Windows production software.

On a mac It won't let me use activate code that they emailed me for upgrade and says BUY even when I log in in HELP MENU ON APP, that's bull. Hey goPro REEL STEADY ! A step by step tutorial would be nice once in your life time instead you leave us hanging as usual.

Yeah honestly it took me a few to figure out I had to use my activation code where it says "Password" LOL

@@AdventureFPV Yeah I did do that and it didn't work. I think this is more of a app store issue because if it didn't go through apple store this problem wont happen.

Yes Gyroflow is AMAZING, but if you have RSG the upgrade is great too.

Can anyone post a direct link to a shop where you can BUY the upgrade? Because it is NOT FREE! The only location where I can find it is the Microsoft Shop. But there only you can see "GoPro Player + ReelSteady = free". So the whole software seems to be free. But it is not! The whole news around Reelsteady and integration is totally missleading.

Do you already own a license for RS? If So was your previous download from the MS store or apple store? You must download the Player from the original store you purchased it from. Then RS in now integrated into the player. Just put in your license key and the upgrade works just fine.

Me too because they sent out a survey about 6 months ago asking what I would be willing to pay for an upgrade. Good move by GoPro

Yes it does, But RS go is much faster and provides an easy workflow for fast export for professional work.

gyroflow can't do horizon leveling or superview. 5.3k superview 60fps is awesome. RSGO2 also renders faster, and has batch rendering

@@AdventureFPV managed to get it sideloaded and working using 3 hours of googling, my ms store is broken but by turning on developer mode and using my magic and powershell its now installed. finally. got a piece of footage in but crashes when scrubbing. sigh. bedtime. annoyed now.

i lied, just one test:) scrubbing through timeline crashes player, letting it do its thing its ok. and exported.

@@ChunterGB Can you tell us what camera the clip is from that crashed the player? We have noticed there are some GOP lengths that can cause this and we are trying to track it down.
