Love to see these two honestly, both in the movie and in interviews, also would like to mention that I'm now even more fond of cliff Curtis after he performed as Tonowari.

i loved this interview, one thing that i caught while watching this was the picture of Cliff with his long hair. you could tell which was his real hair and how amazing it was and how he embodied the essence of Tonowari

I was locked up for a whole lot of weed one time. Doing my time in Mangaroa,HBRP. Was in the mfu. Mr Curtis came to visit us and take a selected few through some mau rakau training. I was in that select few. Was quite a challengeto get that spot. Anyway gangsters were kinda giving him shit, calling him uncle Bully. So Mr Curtis gets up and introduces himself as Cliff Curtis and says he is not a rapist and no offense to those that are. Was hilarious. The red tribewent all quiet as most of them were rapists while blue tribe laughed their arses off.😅
