This is purely why he can’t compete. He’s unbelievably good. Not just skilled but his atmosphere building with his range of sounds is so unreal and unique. Still my favourite beatboxer. I love so many but this man is why me and quite a lot of people started and why we will continue to do so. Watching this man grow over the years is humbling but also a pleasure.

@Creatine Sandwich I kinda disagree that battling is just to get your reputation up. Yes, there's a completely different emphasis in battles due to the back and forth format and the time limit. But battling also becomes a big drive and motivator for people to improve their basic skills, drives innovation and ultimately helps move beatboxing forward. Competition is a generally good thing I think, even in music.

@Creatine Sandwich That's cool dude, everyone has their own opinions. If you post them on the internet it's fair game for others to comment and disagree. Ultimately people should do what they want. I don't doubt that many experienced beatboxers won't enjoy battling after a while. I think "outgrow" is misleading though, his interests changed.

I believe it was a hard work I can't imagine what a proccess that had to be but at some points to me it that it was too swelled in low end and in some parts (7:50) it was wierdly positioned. Snares were in the middle so bright and sharp (maybe too sharp for my taste) and other sounds were on the sides in the back unclear it seemed to me. I know that the record itself wasn't the best material (in opposition of studio). It wass too inconsistent for the whole set but I like the special effects like diving into wet big reverb than jumping from that to bright drop. I hope I didn't get you mad hah. Big up man! And huge respect to Reeps! You are doing this world a favor by your art!

I keep going back here so many times, this messes so hard with me as a sound-engineer. Everything on this performance was perfect, the insane EQ sound quality and the way Reeps handles the different tones is just a different element on its own apart from the entire performance. He is the true definition of an artist and creator. The light, vibrations, eq, perfomance, style and incredible routine is just out of the world. Top Beatboxer in the world. Far apart from the rest.
