This is fucking awesome, please do this during the MLS playoffs and Leagues cup. Add them after the highlights, helps people understand the refs decisions a lot better and reduces abuse towards refs. This is brilliant to watch

The laws of the game prohibit it which is why we only see it during the All Star game. Law 5: Referees and other ‘on-field’ match officials are prohibited from wearing jewellery or any other electronic equipment, including cameras.

I agree, I love seeing the referee POVs since it helps newer referees understand why most calls are being made. I just wish that you could also hear what the ARs are saying along with the VAR. but sadly referee cameras are against the IFAB rules

This is so dope! Really can help the fans and players after the fact understand calls more, understand that even they admit to mistakes, and overall allows a better understanding of the way the match progresses through a totally different lens. Please keep doing this!

You gotta remember. All star is an American thing. LigaMX is invited. They can decline the invitation. It’s an MLS thing, not a concacaf or ligaMX thing. Personally I think they should have the game at the end of the seasons if possible. I also wanna see the east vs west.

@Channel Name yeah but remember it’s just an all star game. That won’t grow the league overall in quality. Most of North America soccer fans already watch ligaMX over MLS. LigaMX is always mostly at home when they play in the states. The CCL is where it can grow the league. But overall I don’t feel this all star game can improve the quality. All it’ll do is give ligaMX more views on their purchases from those paying attention to this all star game.

@Channel Name but right off the top, you know ligaMX makes high investments. From the young academy to the foreigners they bring. For entertainment reasons, it does seem more fair since none of them play with each other. Also, Mexican soccer brings tons of money so I guess at the end of the day it’s a business.

Yeah, it is refreshing concept though. Somehow football is the sport which have no mic'd up feature (I think it wasn't there due to tactical aspects). But yeah I can take mic'd up on referee POV

@@angelwithadraco8264 It's not hands if his arm is in a natural movement or static.. the ball went high towards his arm and he couldnt retract it and he didn't move his arm towards the ball intentionally so not a foul.

I felt that too but it's probably mostly because of the language barrier and the fact that he just knows the MLS players personally. Even though he knows Spanish, during the game you can tell you can't come up with the words as he did before the game. It's an MLS-organized event so the referring isn't going to be perfectly impartial.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems a lot more common than 10-20 years ago. And all the young players do it because they see it on TV. You now have average at best players every single Sunday league match hoarding around referees for every other call, disrespecting the rules and systems of the game. Captains came around for a reason. Back when that used to mean something.
