Fun fact: He actually is a very sweet and calm person, more than most players. The reason why he's so rude is because he went to the military, there he learnt how to make others respect himself and obey him, so not even the most savage players like Oliver Kahn could look him directly in the face, they always looked down. He wasn't evil, just very good at his job.

Colina may have had a very scary look...but he was and will be the best referee in the history of this game! A huge respect for a real referee who is not afraid of reactions and banter from players and knows exactly what he is doing. That's absolute bollocks! I can think of 2 decisions straight away that were completely wrong by Colina. A champions league qualifying game. Villarreal v Everton. Duncan Ferguson (Everton) scored a header at the back post. Colina adjudged that Ferguson had fouled the player. Slow motion replays showed he hadn't fouled the player. Everton were knocked out of the CL. He officiated a game in the CL in the 2004/2005 season. Olympiakos v Liverpool. The Olympiakos players were continually diving. And Colina was giving them fouls for it. Colina then gave a foul as a player dived to the floor. Slow motion replays shown he wasn't fouled. Olympiakos then scored from the free kick. Colina was bald and had big staring eyes. And he was confrontational. But there's just no way he was the best referee of all time. Because he could stick up for himself.
