$2700 for Composer and $1700 for the amp. You have a different idea of “Budget” than most. That’s a flagship headphone at a flagship price point.

@@HiFiInsider I never said it was. But calling a $2700 headphone “Budget” is ridiculous. It’s not a $200 Sundara. It’s a $2700 flagship.

I tried MR and The Composer, to be honest Composer was superior in every aspect.

Hi, thanks a lot for this very good and helpful review. How would the AA Composer compare to the Hifiman Ananda (the ones I have) and the MZF Aeolus (the ones I think I’m of getting)? I use a Naim Atom Uniti HE amp and listen mostly to classical music and jazz. Best wishes, Ignacio

I tried the Yamaha and did not find it impressive. IMHO, a modern HD800 at a high price. I will make video on Composer vs Diana MR. Stay subscribed!

I don't own the Utopia because its performance does not justify its name and price. I own a pair of Utopia line speakers but the headphone doesn't come close IMHO.
