The hardest part about reference photos for animated characters, is to know what to take from the photo. You’re not measuring proportions or angles as much as you’re trying to capture the essence of your subject. Should you go to college for art directly out of high school, or wait maybe a year to work on things and then go? I feel like there are good and bad things for both. And great video too!! I loved it!!

If you're going to a school of character design or anything of the arts it's usually a good idea to have alot of mileage, alot of hours into your craft, because if you are already at a level to where you can easily understand your craft, it can bring you a long way. It is often good to develope habits and train yourself to do art as if it is second nature, make art a drug, read alot, draw alot, study alot, and live alot but never forget that art is just a journey that you take and never overdue it. Make time for the things that you love to do outside of art and also go out and live a good life so that you can put back the life into your art. Hey why not try a schoolism course or something find the thing you want to do in art.
