Importer is an arrow that leads to the inventory which I think catches people out... It's the opposite! Import refers to importing into the system not out of the system. I should have spent more time on that 🤔

@@PilpohMC Exactly. Once you get it, it isn't hard to remember but if you are learning it can be a trial.

Some mods seem to be designed to only be understood by the person who made it. It's like they had a problem, fixed it for themselves, but other people got hold of the fix illegally. Often the 'instructions' make it feel like they don't want anyone else to know how to use it. It's a secret handshake club. 😂

AE1 was much more simple than AE2. I think the reason it was changed was to just make the system more challenging. There is this trend among mod makers and modpack creators to want to extend the life of the various modpacks and they do that primarily by making things in the modpack more difficult to create and use. Gregtec is a prime example of this idea. A lot of people like the challenge so the trend will continue. A good modpack though will offer alternatives like AE2 and Refined to give people a choice. Unless there is a specific reason not to include both, a good modpack will give players a choice when a choice is available.

Refined storage is just AE1 before the complexity got added in. The changes added to AE seemed to be to make it a more real life example of networking. Knowing the basics will prepare you quite nicely for some networking tech used in irl solutions 😁

maybe the resourcefull bee mod and the refined storage mod are an good combinbation for that. I'm atcualy experimenting with both of them. only Problem the centirfuge clocks up... Well, i will have to try and tweak it somehow.

@@andrazione9214 I managed to set up the infinite lava setup. It's far easier than it 'should' be. You only need a hose pully, a hand crank and a pipe into an Ender Tank and that's it. Many videos made it look so complicated, like it needed cogs and power, etc but it's completely manual. Once the hose goes into the lava you don't need to do anything with it ever again - it's permanent! I got into bees and Refined Storage too and they're so logical once you get going but the Centrifuge can become the bottleneck because you need to extract the 'solids', the wax, honey and (if you have Ender Bees) liquid chorus. I found the Advanced Black Hole Tanks invaluable. 🖤

Compacting drawer if you also have the storage drawers mod works great for that.

Compacting drawers from functional storage are really great for this as smw211 says. It gives your system access the iron block, ingot and nuggets without having to do a recipe 😁 external storage on a functional storage controller will let you connect all drawers attached to the controller too! The upgrades for the drawers are really cheap as well so a massive drawer wall for both Refined Storage and AE2 is kinda a must to keep your disks clean 😉

I discovered it by accident while trying to autocraft the sink while thermal wasn't in the pack (no encapsulater) 😁

The only way I know of is to set the crafting recipe to the items in the create recipe and then point the crafter at a chest that is exported out of using pipes or something. The recipe can't use more that 9 items though but I think there's an add on mod for bigger recipes 🤔 for immersive engineering I have a section of my ATM8 LP where I automate a bunch of immersive 😉

It's hard to explain in a comment however I do something like this in a recent atm9 episode 🤔 think it's episode 60 😉

Export enriched redstone, carbon, diamond and refined obsidian directly into 4 different enrichment factories and the recipes can ignore that part 😉 only better if you already have all those components automated and are resource rich

You can use crafting upgrades on an exporter to make it autocraft something without telling it to. Like we did with the patterns 😉 the extra storage crafters send items quicker and can hold extra recipes but for the mech alloys the set up I have here is still going to be the same. Because of the ratios that are needed. If you put all the same recipes in the single infuser the there's a chance it will try and add iron to the infuser when it's got diamond in it for example 🤔

That sounds like a bug 🤔 if the crafting recipe is in a crafter you should get the item available with both options on there... Not sure why that would be happening

@@PilpohMC I've done everthing, like its said in the questbook of ATM8 Modpack: - Craft a Pattern Grid + Patterns (prudentin recipe exakt mode, also tried paper) -placed a crafter and a crafting Monitor But in the crafting grid nothing is shown ...

Wireless network blocks require netherite but will do the trick. I use a rediculous amount of them to save on weird wiring 😂the further away the more energy it will cost but it can go across dimensions 😉 Right click a card on a receiver and put it in a transmitter (make sure its connected to your network)

Unfortunately there isn't that capability but that would be an awesome idea! Like a max button 🤔 refined storage is going through a complete rewrite right now so this could be a good suggestion for the devs to look into 😁

You can make a RS pattern and use an exporter to export patterns into the pattern grid 😉 it will keep patterns in stock so you never have to make patterns manually again 😁

I would love that! I've been trying to find some code for the advanced periferals mod for a while but the only one around is a little out dated and I code all day for my day job so I don't have the brain capacity to fix it after work 😁

You can use ftbchunks to claim your area. No one except your self and your team can use any of your stuff once it's claimed 😁
