Refinishing Congas

Жыл бұрынMy friend Corey had a set of Congas he wanted refinished and actually requested a video of the process as well. So here it is How to refinish Congas. This method can only be used on solid wood congas, if you drums are plywood then you can't sand them the way I do here.

Excellent job!!!!! I’ve been a conga player for over 50 years, as you see in my pictures I have seven of them. I never seen a delicate, professional, and excellent finish as yours. I wish you were near to Puerto Rico area. I have to do two sets of them! Thank you for your video!!!!

Hi, I bought an old set of Toca elite series congas. They have the same badges that those drums have. They do not have the metal badge that says elite series like the newer ones. Do you happen to know when those drums were made ? I can't seem to figure it out. Nice work

I do not know. I think the owner said they were from the 1960's but Not 100% sure of that.

Beautiful, after sanding do use a dry or damp cloth to wipe off the saw dust? Thanks for this excellent tutorial
