@TheReluctantProphet1964 From where does his Authority come from. All I see is someone who does not preach, teach, believe, and practice the truth. To deny John chapter 6 vrs 53-58 or John chapter 20 vrs 21-23 is to deny the truth.

This is Nathanael Robinson, Benjamin Robinson‘s brother, we briefly met in Switzerland a few years ago, and my wife is Danielle. Thank you for your faithfulness and your love, especially in this very trying time while I was a farmer in Switzerland, picking cherries and apples in the heartland of Switzerland, I got to listen to your preaching about your upbringing your challenges with being a father. I’m a father of three now myself and respect you a lot thank you God bless.

Man that was powerful! And the music went beautifully with it. Thank you for all the Good Shepherds, the good humble leaders who lay down their life and wash the feet of their disciples and their followers and are not arrogant and want the spotlight. and want the fame and the power and the attention thank you for Humble men and woman of God, who may never get the spotlight, but are so precious in God’s eyes. I have followed a pastor who is very known for his charismatic preaching. Last year he fell and didn’t show humility or repentance but was a bully, arrogant, selfish, wanting to defend his name and grabbing the pulpit back with force as he was going to get back His church! His true colors were shown. He was unfaithful to his wife, not all the details are known but some sexually explicit text with another woman and a second allegation with another woman that was reported but because this woman did not want to take part in the investigation, we have no idea what that was really about, so many lies and coverups, I don’t want to be involved in any more mega churches. I think what’s needed is smaller churches, so that there can be community because most of the people in my church did not even know the senior pastor even the pastoral team, he didn’t allow himself to be known, and I think that’s very very dangerous as he did not have accountability, and the board is just wrapped around his fingers, devastating that this shepherd became a 🐺 wolf to his sheep.

God loves you very much. It doesn’t matter what we have done or where we have been God still loves us. God knows each of our hearts. He still loves us in all our darkness. I am sorry for what has been done to interrupt what God is doing. I am sorry for those who are guilty of wrong doing and I pray for them. God is good. I haven’t been to the places that many have been. I haven’t done the things many have done but God loves me just the same. I pray that God will restore what the devil has tried to tear down. God bless you brother.

So, so well said Allen, and so needed to be said. It is about the Kingdom of God’s Beloved Son, who gave up all He had beside the Father and came as a servant. Let us behold Him, the lamb of God who is worthy to open the scrolls. Let each of us hold to Him and not to a personality, or to a prophetic word. It is a time to live by every Word God has spoken.

Alan…you were a favorite instructor of mine at IHOP in 2006. “The Excellancies of Christ” is still a cherished part of my Bible studies collection. It makes my heart stand in awe of Jesus! Looking back over the years it’s even easier now to see the ONE True, and Faithful Witness Who makes all others pale and disappear by comparison. Thank you for remaining faithful to point only to HIM Who alone is Worthy!

I think you have captured the heart of God beautifully and he will bless your pursuit of this life message. Since the current crisis I’ve heard the Spirit repeatedly whisper sorrowfully: “You don’t have many fathers…” To add - I think our generation is not looking for anyone to call father or depend on in absolute power structures, but needs experienced fathers that genuinely carry His priorities, take time to facilitate encounter with His heart in settings great or small, and walk out His heart in ways we can emulate without becoming copycats of gifting, but molded into His likeness uniquely and excelently expressed in us. The result of such caring shepherds would provide a base safety and set us up to aim for healthy, presence filled mundane homelife, and then calling us into the great adventure of His kingdom.

Reconcilliary words and verbal affirmation of the cry for an organic, heartfelt following is not the same as living, modeling, and DOING it. You can't build something different than what you previously built unless you use different tools to do it. I don't know where this video falls, but, for me, it falls... like when a worship leader thrives on fame for 20 years and then gives a 20min exhortation to not let it be about "us"... everyone cheers, but nothing changes. It takes more than just words... it takes living it. Building different requires being different.😊

A lot of interesting things here. I just can't get behind the heavy-handed kinship language. It's rhetorically persuasive because it foregrounds affection before all else, but it has simultaneously been coopted by cults and high pressure orgs (secular corporations too) to demand allegiance on familial grounds. Especially from a leader coming from IHOP (a high pressure org that routinely manipulated students and staff by foregrounding "love"), I simply cannot trust Allen to do differently than he's been taught. "Lovers work harder than workers" was the foundation for exploiting religious labor at IHOP and I would strongly advise more neutral language within my spiritual community (and especially from a former-leader of IHOP).

Agreed that it is perfectly stated. I would suggest that Allen seriously prays about the need to be delivered from any bad influences (known and unknown) that he has picked up from his years at IHOPKC.

Galatians 2:20. which means, For me to live is Christ. When and where is that not true? it is true at times and in all places. Christianity IS CHRIST right here right now in and through us His Body, His Church, His Temple, His City. What does arise and shine look like? it looks, sounds, and acts like Him because it "IS" Him

Even a Christian cannot brush aside the worship of Jehovah as God. In Revelation 1:5 the Son of God called himself "Jesus Christ, 'The Faithful Witness. When on earth as a man he was a Jew, an Israelite to whose nation the words of Isaiah 43:10 were written: "'You are my witnesses, ' is the utterance of Jehovah, even my servant whom I have chosen.'" Jesus demonstrated that he was a faithful and true witness of Jehovah God. His genuine disciples today must be the same kind of witnesses, Jehovah's.

Those who love Jesus OBEY His Commands. We don't chase after signs and wonders. We don't train people to be huge leaders. We love Him and others. We help the fatherless, orphan and widow. We go back to the ancient paths which are His instructions. His Word is clear, there's one law for the native born and the sojourner. We are grafted into Israel. Ruth and Rehab and the mixed multitude that left Egypt were all examples of what it looks like to be grafted into Israel. We follow His instructions just as the Israelites did. Did you know that if you read the Old Testament and the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus is teaching from His Father's instructions to Moses? In John He says that His doctrine is His Father's.... Have you read in Proverbs what He says is GOOD doctrine? Did you know that when the Bereans were searching the scriptures to test what they were hearing that they only had the "Old" Testament? His Word says that He never changes. He never changed. Did you know that the LIE about Paul was that he taught against keeping the law? Did you know that in Acts this is discussed and Paul refutes this? Did you know that the apostles kept the Feast Days in Leviticus 23? Did you know that in Leviticus 23 He says that these are HIS Feast days, Feasts unto THE LORD? Did you know that every Feast Day points to Jesus? Have you ever looked up the scriptures that Jesus used about Himself? What scriptures did He use when He said, I am the way, the truth and the life. Each is a scripture from the Old Testament. You may want to look up each scripture to give you an understanding of what He was saying ❤

Understanding his context adds greater gravity to his message.
@auhsojpay777
@auhsojpay777 6 ай бұрын
Yes, i think through the context, he is trying to share from his experience how God works powerfully in the "small" ways and day to day relationships, as much as the "big" more salient things of ministry. Ministry comes from an outflow of our spiritual life, and God looks at our "small" works as much as the large ones, whereas many Christians are being more caught up with the "big" things.
@auhsojpay777

The "bio of achievements" listed for good purpose to bring across points is not new. Philippians 3 and 2 Corinthians 11:21-12:1 are precedents.

I really like Allen Hood, but I still sense IHOPKC influence on his understanding of Christianity. I thought there was a lot of mental rather than spiritual understanding. I also agree that beginning with accolades about himself could be edited out to give himself more credibility and the ending ones as well, which just seemed to be an advertisement for his church and ministry. Especially the mention of "pioneering missionary" in the self accolades at the beginning. I have met zero IHOPKC affiliated true missionaries that leave their countries and risk their lives to preach the gospel. Most that I have met have never led anyone to the Lord, but rather go to other countries and hide and pray, bringing into their group local Christians who already know the Lord. That is not the definition of the word missionary.

John the Baptist said that Herod should not take his brother’s wife. Paul said, “You son of the devil. When will you stop perverting the holy things of God?” Jesus said, “go tell that fox.” Elegance is overrated.

Sheeple, please stop giving these "men of God" their narcissistic supply!! They give eloquent speeches, you sing their praises, and tell them how they saved you and your families. Have you learnt nothing at all?! Celebrity Christianity is not something the Holy Spirit is just now trying to do away with. It was NEVER the correct thing in the first place. It is idolatry. How is what Allen is proposing here any different from the same celebrity shit that has got us here in the first place??? Under whose authority does he suppose to teach these upcoming Christian leaders aka celebrity Christians? I have an idea: How about each of us learn from the Holy Spirit, and all our super star pastors including Allen, just focus on being husbands and fathers, finding honest work with which to feed their households? Allen, you, Corey Russell, Mike Bickel et al., were among some of the biggest Christian Celebrities, you can not deny that. So the only thing we would like to hear from you guys now, is repentance. You were part of the problem, and we were your greatest enablers, and for that, I personally repent... P.s. thank you for quickly putting out there that Jane Doe's complaints are credible, it helped. Every past and present IHOPKC leader needs to apologize to the body of Christ.
