It's a shame that this is only being shown now. However, I do love your incredibly professional films. They really do inspire me. If I had the money, I would in a heartbeat follow your explorations. Have a wonderful time.

Don’t need a lot of money to do it. It’s more fun when done cheaper anyways. It’s amazing how little you need (up north is a little harder but still doable as I am doing it). Read up on French sailor Bernard Moitessier

It’s amazing in the middle of Alaska on a beautiful yacht, the nasty COVID bug caught you! I am so sorry! I hope and pray you are completely recovered. If I caught COVID I would be thrilled to be on Venture recuperating. Might as well suffer in comfort ❤️

Following your video's for years now (and so much inspired by you that we have sold our house and bought a Steeler Explorer 50) I have a question. Somewhere you mentioned not to use the watermaker because of glacier cloudy water. Can you explain that to me. I mean, more fresh is not to find .... what do I have missed here? With all respect and regards, Ferry

Tony, I am Glad you went back to Alaska after I wrote you of my Trip there in 2022. I was enjoying this video in 4K. I am happy to see you uploading 4K videos, especially after our emails (?) requesting (suggesting-?) you upload your old Alaska videos in 4K. My 4k footage from my Jun 2022 Alaska vacation doesn't compare to yours. Thank you for taking us to a different part of Alaska. Sorry o hear you got Covid - we also caught it in Alaska during our trip, Thankfully it was at the end of our trip! -Animal-

A beautiful production as always Tony. I do have a technical question. Are all the engines in Flemings left hand rotation with left and right handle wheels handled by the transmission? Has this always been so? Back in the day I ran larger boats there were left and right turning engines. I am of the same age as you, so started all this in the 50s.
@FlemingYachts7 ай бұрын
Yes the engines all run the same direction and the left and right rotations for the props are handled by the transmissions. Today's marine engines are essentially truck engines which have been set up for marine use. I don't recall coming across contra-rotating engines in my career.
@kurtlysne92207 ай бұрын
Packard, ChrisCraft/Hercules, Chrysler. All from the 30s & 40s were produced turning left or right. These were what I grew up with. By the 60s I lost track. I told you I was old.

Your videos are amazing and inspiring. It give me emotional comfort and relief from stress and strain we have every day life. Thank you. I want to sail on a wonderful voyage like you did. By the way - your recent videos have too much red color. It does not look natural. Please reduce "Hue" & "Saturation" feature in your video editor software when editing video. Anyway - we love your amazing sailing video. Thank you for making us feel good when watching your beautilly presented sailing videos.
