Hiya it’s just a normal painters masking tape. Yeah your Cricut will cut htv vinyl you just need to get the blade depth correct

Acetone was used to remove the factory silicone Otherwise the htv will not have the correct adhesion 👍

yes it will come off over time. i do have one htv vinyl that is permanent, its a reflective silver on my shop under the option for the professional cotton backed.

If I wanted to could I paint a pack ground and then let it dry then it overlap a stencil and apply the heat or is that not recommended?

I’ve never tried it, I always thought that the bond would fail or the paint might peel and deform with the heat. But I will try it and make a video on these issues soon if you try it let me know how it go’s 👊👍

It’s a heat transfer vinyl we use a mini iron that you can buy on amazon. And to be honest this material has best results on fabric based garments 👊👍

high heat it should be between 140 and 160 degrees c

@@reubenhson upon further investigation, I have round that it will eventually peel off no matter what you do. So I would recommend buying the kit and doing it yourself as they’re pretty expensive to keep buying a new pair every time it peels off. The kits are fairly cheap and there’s a bunch of different monograms out there too.

It could be the vinyl people are using or it could be not a lot of pressure is being applied when its being pressed on. The toe box I can understand because the the creasing but on the sides and the heel I dont see why it will peel off. I could be wrong I want to do mine for the summer but then I wouldn't be wearing them often anyway.

So why is this video so insanely quiet I've been sitting here watching videos for a minute and I can hear everything else I've listened to but this one my volume is all the way up and I literally have to put my speaker up to my ear to hear anything part of me is questioning is my phone fucking up but I really don't feel like it is because every other video I can hear just finebut I know unless I put in headphones or something I can't even watch the video and listen to it at the same time because I got to put the speaker literally against my ear to hear anything so if you could fix your volume dude who made the video that would be great
