In my view, Success has many father..... If Mr. Sinha had so much caliber why didn't he do at least one structural reform during his tenure as FM. Manmohan Singh after presenting the budget directly comes to DD studio and takes all the question of jurno and answered every question as if it is coming directly from his heart.(Video available in U tube) And follow up to that also he was very clear what he is doing and putting forward the case at every forum. Without the idea being his original,that conviction will never come. He was ready to give resignation at least three time during that period and no one does that to a borrowed ideas. So all credit to that budget goes to only Dr. Singh.

Great. Never knew this before that he was the key player in Dr. Manmohan's budget . What I know about Mr. Yashwant Sinha, is that he was a man of words. My wife, who was a victim of an administrative lackadaisical indifference, approached / met him for 5 minutes in his office at 11.40 AM: the anomaly was rectified before 5.00 PM, the same day. Our million thanks to him along with our eternal obligation. I have all the interviews that he has given, but It was a pleasure seeing him once again. Modi govt. Failing in economy,,but how come Manmohan Singh govt. Was a success?? Inflation was at record high and GDP data were inflated coz of that ,all these NPA were the result of that economic governance,,,when Modi came into power ,rbi conducted a asset review mechanism right after a couple of months later ,and the NPA that earlier stood at 3% which the Manmohan govt. Claimed as success,came out to be 9% ,,,was this NPA rise coz of new govt. ? ,,Air India required 22 planes but govt. Ordered around 80 ,that sunk the profits of air India and made it go to losses and handed over all the profitable routes to kingfisher airlines that also turned out to be a failure ,,,,huge failure in corporate governance regerding coal scam ,2g , commonwealth etc. Was result of same Manmohan Singh govt. ,I am from Gurgaon we had huge surge in real estate prices and we ourselves went to buy a flat and they asked for 50% in cash (black money) ,,,,is this the success of dr. Singh's govt. ????? Yes his biggest achievement is not economic reforms of 1991 but his biggest achievement is the uplifting if poor population of India from 56% to 27% in those 10yrars coz of his master plan NREGA ,,,,and those of you who consider this economic reform the brain child of any particular person be it Yashwant Sinha or dr. Singh ,then you all must read "Washington consensus" that document drafted by American economist for Latin American countries,,and that same document given to India to implement it if we wanted imf aid ,,,,so kindly stop hero worshipping be it Modi or Manmohan Singh or Rajiv or Indira or Nehru or vajpayee ,,,,,, And another thing is that dr. Singh's govt. Was voted out not coz of economy failure but coz of high inflation and huge corruption scandals ,,,,and if we want to let India grow at a high speed then we have two ways to do that ,1 either allow Balck money free flow in indian economy that eould certainly bring huge GDP figures and great money for ultra rich 2. Bring necessary reforms but GDP would slowdown greatly coz of this , And this govt. Tried to bring in reforms but it failed too in that ,,,some are good reforsm like RERA and IBC and GST and other reforms sucked big time ,,,,,so no govt. In India so far addressed removal of black money and still attaining high GDP growth simultaneously,,,,this govt.
