Hallo Steff, The Dior backstage is one of my favorite foundations. My skin just does so well, if I am struggling and just want something that I know is just going to work I grab this. I panicked a few months ago and bought a back up. I am so relieved after watching that is okay. Thank you so much for reviewing this.

When these companies say they are placing more "natural" ingredients doesn't always translate to "Better". When I hear that, it screams allergic reactions. I used Dior in the past and it was Ok. The past year the ones I have been going to is the L'oreal or Revlon foundations. They seem lighter and a prettier coverage than the high-end foundations I have.

Hey Steff! Congrats on being able to retire early!!!! Fellow Dior complexion product lover,here!! I have a very hard to match skin tone bc I'm on the light side of medium with both golden olive and cool pink undertones🤣Dior is one of my best matches of all time in 4c and wow does it (every single one I've tried) sit pretty on my skin and wears amazingly!

I used to own this foundation, and I loved it. I also had 1N, and I am lighter than you are. It was a nice shadematch for me. I now see it on you, what is supposed to be the same shade looks so much darker! And indeed very orange!

I noticed the lack of fragrance right away! The last times I purchased, it had an overwhelming floral perfume scent and they finally fixed this!

You can add some blue to get rid of that orange if you can't return or exchange it. It won't take much blue. It shouldn't mess with the formula.

Eh, don’t worry about it, save it for when u tan 🎉btw, will u get the ND Yucca palette 🎨? Those colors r gorgeous, ur right, neutrals r making a comeback w/ a twist! Not just browns & creams, but w/ greens 💚💛🧡🤎🤍 yellows ♥️♥️♥️ it’s like jungle meets the fall if that makes any sense

Hi! It’s too bad that is the wrong shade but when you get the correct shade you will look fantastic! Your eye looks were really pretty! All the makeup was great! It’s so funny bc today I had a bad foundation day! I swear in my house the Pat McGrath foundation I had was nice! But when I saw my face at work I was ORANGE! I was like 👀👀😮 usually I can fix it but I legit looked like a pumpkin! I had to go out and get makeup wipes to remove it! Atleast my two toned green eye shadow was nice-got a few compliments but yeah…I am returning that haunted foundation.😂

i see that they have 0N as well, so maybe that would be a better match for you? But honestly i think it looks beautiful on you! This is one of my favourite foundations. I was not aware that they had reformulated this, so how would i know the difference between the old and the new bottle? The shade numbers are the same, the bottle is the same, the name has not changed... Did you notice a difference between both bottles?

You definitely will need a lighter shade or combine it with a lighter one. Steff do you use a remote or something to control your camera when recording?

I'm not a fan of the "clean beauty" reformulations. I had to return the Dior concealer today because it was separating.. the pigment was settling on the glass. Apparently this has happened to other customers. In bought mine less than 3 months ago.

I don't get, why Dior changes the colors when reformulating. I already experienced that with the Dior Forever Skin Correct Concealer... Apart from that, I don't get why several products look so different although they are all the shade "1 N"

I think 1.5N is more neutral and a better match than 1N. That’s always been my experience with Dior personally.

Hi Steff,, I have missed you. Congratulations on your last day🎉🎉. I like it but it's not something I can't afford rn. I actually have the true match nude and I love how it looks on my 52 year old dry skin. I have a new brow product that I would love for you to try and it's by Revlon and I got it from Walmart and I think it was like 7$ but it works great it's called the micro microbrow pencil and it's a twist up so no sharpening. Oh and in the L'Oreal true match nude I'm in the shade 7-8 cause I've been able to get some sun here in south Florida and usually the darker foundations look orange but not this one. I'm nervous about this shade now! I just placed a same day order for 1CR (my usual shade in the 3 Dior foundations I already have) Your shade does NOT match the swatches online at all! That's crazy! I really hope I don't have to return this one. It looks beautiful formula wise. I am very glad they toned down the fragrance.

For some reason, this foundation has always turned orange on me. No matter what shade or undertone I've tried, it ends up orange. Guess it just reacts weird to my skin

I’m here in Cali and it can be ordered. Dior always runs dark…. That’s the best part of their line - goes very fair and goes very dark I usually go light with them and it works well. . As with all of the new formulations of the foundations nowadays I wish they’d leave them alone and they’re all changing . Next will be Estée Lauder on to ruining their cults doublewear. ‘Mark my words . They keep jacking up all perfect makeup 😞😞😞😞😞

I've got the original (totally unused), so I don't think I'll be getting this reformulated one. I hope Dior offers you an exchange 🤞, unlike Harrods with me.
