I went on SHEIN and found some amazing basic pieces that will work year after year and that will slot perfect in to most wardrobes.

The denim dress does look beautiful on you and its proportions are just right for except the bust area. I would sew in some thin Velcro or small hooks to keep it looking secure. I would be concerned the larger size would be out of proportion on the rest of your body. It looks fabulous on you.

When I have a bit of gapping in a dress or blouse I sew it close going with my sewing machine over the seam… it looks perfect and no more gapping ( specially with stretchy fabric )😊

That’s a good idea as long as you can still get the item on and off. This one was simply too small for me but may try a size up x
