Totally fascinating. You know, I do believe that you could set up an overhead cam w/o sound even and just show us unedited repair work with an occasional voice-over commentary and there's a lot of us who'd really nerd out on it. Very cool stuff.

Thanks for the interesting repair work! I hope you find time to make more, if not perform! Whatever strikes your fancy! Thanks again!

great video! I own a couple of smaller accordions and always wanted to do my own fixing. Helpful and fun to watch! Thanks for your work 🙂

I am so PUMPED! This is a fantastic resource. Some day, I'd love to figure out how to actually fabricate new reeds from harmonic steel, even if I just build like a one-note pitch pipe, I feel as though that'd be a pretty cool accomplishment. To work on the guts of accordions all day just seems genuinely-satisfying. At the end of the day there's progress that you can see and feel and hear.

Very helpful and interesting to see you at work. The broken file as a Reed scratcher was good to see, I've seen quite a bit of conflicting advice on what to use for this job, and the file looks to work really well. I've just finished rewaxing and revalving a small 12 bass Scandalli (my first attempt at this) and the next job is to tune it!).

Love the video mike, just came from the Rob Scallon video. Been really interested in accordions as ive started to get into quite a lot of mexican music that uses it
