Great review. Very musical amp. My hifi buddy has it. Unfortunately, it is not silent when there is no music. Other solid state amp like Denon are dead silent. He has complained to the distributor and written to Rega. Rega replied that it is their amp design and cannot be avoided.

同是旗艦合併，Cambridge Audio edge A 跟依部 Rega Osiris 算唔算同級，有無可比性？

I agree with your assessment 100%. I have no doubt about the sonic capabilities of the Osiris, but its biggest enemy is its price point. I was shocked when I found out its price tag is $96K. I am currently using another British amp Roksan Blak. Initially, I had thought they were in similar class, both being their companies' flagship integrateds. But, after looking into the detail specs of the Osiris, now I understand it is a better amp than the Blak, still I never expected it to be $96K. That is more than 3 times the price of the Roksan (in the UK). At that price point, I just don't see how one would not to go with the Gryphon Diablo 300. Or if you want to consider other British amps with arguably superior specs (at least on paper) and a lower price point, I think you could look at the Musical Fidelity M8xi with 550W into 8 ohms and 870W into 4 ohms.

@@grayma4022 黎個型號的確比較分析力多，情感上真的太無味，可以試聽下rega elex-r我聽落冇黎個問題，但elicit-r 建議配d音樂性強喇叭，同埋d高音唔好太勁，例如proac10 或tannoy，spendor a1，覺得幾好夾

I have a question, you do know the amp is on discount at Fortress online right? Is going for $76,800 which is basically the MSRP internationally. I saw a UK shop asking for GBP 7,500. So, I don't know how the HK distributor thinks he can sell it for $96K which is kind of insane.

係，4萬一邊好似差少少，但聽聲，的確力量淡定，有時推力多少，真係睇用料之外就係睇設計，佢有落 feedback，都係幫到手嘅（國仁）

40000 uf 80v 每聲道，以現在的新設計絕對不少了，以現在的電子零件，尤其是半導體的先進製程，，比過去舊設計和舊電子零件、物料，要用好高數值、量的濾波電容，係不能比較和相提並論的，你留意一下最新設計的功放百零火w，一般每聲道都是两萬到三萬左右微發。

我後來查返，BOULDER 866 每邊 28000uF，大菠蘿每邊 80000uF，功率一部 250瓦一部 300 瓦，但你話係咪兩部機差好遠，講真係唔係，所以 Ronnie Chan 你有道理～（國仁）

其實Osiris的確好機，但性價比就差些！我用unico 150合併機，個specs和他差不多，也是兩隻450 v牛，電容量也是每邊40,000，但個性價比高很多！
