The team played well. We, the fans, need to be realistic and realize South america is ahead of concacaf in soccer. Mexico lost to Venezuela, proving that we played well as a team. The goals were mistake made by the goalkeeper. The penalty was not well placed, and the 1st goal should never have scored. The last goal was a result of us pushing everybody forward for the corner kick.

I listened to so many people blaming the coach . I thought we deserved a draw and can’t find any fault with the coach . The ref and var were outrageous. Dem rob wi !!!

One thing many of our fans and supporters don't know is that football is also a strategic game. Our coach employed the right strategy against Ecuador and most other teams ranked higher than us. I have watch many games where other coaches had taken the same approach and we used to see it often when Jamaica played teams like Mexico and the US when they usually attack us early, they run out of steam in the second half and if we stay close we have a good chance. Jamaica played very well considering that the players aren't in top shape. We have improved by the fact that Ecuador did not over run us, despite their efforts in the first half. We were unlucky to have given up two unearned goals. We are doing well. We outplayed the 30th ranked team in the world in the second half and had the better of possession. When could we have said that before now. It is easy to second guess the coach. Hindsight is always 20/20. Too many people are too harsh and are unable to see the bigger picture. Lets support the coach and the Boyz going forward. They are doing a good job. This isn't the time to panic.

Football is a business…there was more Mexican team supporters than Jamaicans…the Ecuadorians was a thousand to one in there favor…ticket sale and tv viewership runs football…until we start selling tickets and people want to see Jamaica play…the reggae boys that went to the World Cup was a major story n they had a following…

You have the answer why we dont play more of an attacking game - we do not have much of finishers. We are poor on finishing so I support the coach to do more defensive game because of that

I hope we will maintain a critical stance towards the refereeing bodies similar to our approach with the Reggae Boyz team and management. We should not simply accept that there is no justice when competing against teams in CONMEBOL or CONCACAF as we frequently receive less favorable calls. If we want to change the mindset of under dogs we must also demand at least equality.

Me cant understand dem ref yah and how dem analyse penalty. There wasnt much difference with both situations yet he gave 1 and didnt for the other. If anything Jamaica penalty shout was clearer than theirs. Nevertheless the team played a good 2nd half but we still short of a quality central midfielder who isnt afraid of the ball

We needed to be good defensively in the first half becasue Ecuador was fresh we waited until they got a bit tired and then bring out attackers.not a bad strategy. He could have brought on cephas and Dixon earlier but that is subjective

His strategy was to be defensive and hit them on the break . This strategy is quite normal when facing a stronger team ! We went down 2 goals and obviously we had to change to an attacking strategy. Ecuador were at this point sitting back being content with their 2 goals . Unfortunately we got some bad calls which didn’t help . The coach can’t be faulted !!!!

'We was robbed" the universal cry of losing teams. we lose because of the ref." Same suh in every sport, but is really the excuse of losers. Play well enough so the result is not up to the referee. Its like in cricket when it is too close to call it remains the umpire's call.

The last time the vloggers suggested we pressure our opponents, Paul Hall tried, and it looked good for 25 minutes. The final score did not look good. The team ran out of steam, and we lost that game by 4. We need to let the coach do his job and stop being sideline coaches who are not getting paid to do the job.

Also, remember they were leading 2-0. Therefore, they lay back and allowed us to pressure them. Ecuador was tired in the second half from doing all that work in the 1st half.

we got out scored,if given that penalty would be 3-2 still out scored,we know penalty doesn't guarantee it scoring..on the penalty ball in direction toward goal hit hand before head in the ecuador penalty,in the non penalty ball hit head before the hand in the direction away from goal so wasn't in attack..check the rule book and history of non penalties dependent on the direction to the goal..

Keep studying football !!! You are a ways away still !!! Your interpretations don’t take into consideration that the score affects the play of the team re defensive or attacking formations. Had the ref made correct calls the last goal would not have been scored in the way it was . As dem say in Ja di ref rob wi !!!!

My point is that we didn’t play badly !!! Imo the ref was appalling in the penalty he gave to Ecuador and the one he didn’t give to us . The last goal they scored was because we had to change the formation in an attempt to rectify the situation . In other words the ref forced us into a position where we had to gamble and force an attack which was to the detriment of our defence . These are the chances one takes . In my opinion it was unfair that the ref had caused us to be in such a situation !!! A draw would have been a fair result .

@roymacdonald1264 yes you right we play good but if you follow ball jamaica always get bad calls against them..but if we finish our many changes that wouldn't matter..because look at this way same bad calls by the ref and we scored 3-2 won would it still be an issue? No..as ballers we know it comes with the territory and the world fear us..just that we don't love our country as much as how they fear us..

Ja 🇯🇲 Need a Local Team in Training, Because NOTHING Special About These English Ballaz, only different they make a lot of money. Always have a local squad in & whenever sum qualified comes up get no more than 4 English Ballaz, Simple!.
