My criteria is based on the era, 3pt% over 3pt attempts, how a player could perform in a balance scoring team like the Spurs, and how a player could could perform with less ball dominating (considerations for real pointguards of course). @@cheyheyway6244 It's interesting how people tend to be stuck in time, either "today" or "back in my day". Perhaps these players need a year to adjust, but all of would be all-stars today. Human beings have not changed so much, the things that help people be elite athletes have changed. Give the greats access to those for a year.

Reggie Miller is definitely in NBA top 20 Players in NBA history. He played during 1987-2005 which means he had played with most of the greatest players from 80-00.

I totally agree with Reggie's top 10. I might also add Karl Malone at around # 8 or 9. LeBron might be top 15 or 20. To all of you youngsters that think LeBron is all that, you must not have seen the greats of the 70's, 80's and 90's. Basketball isn't just about dunking. I'd take Larry Bird over LeBron any day of the week and he couldn't even dunk. Being a life-long Lakers fan, I hated Bird back in the day and never would have put him ahead of Magic, Kobe or Wilt. But the more videos I watch of Larry Bird ..... the guy was so friggin amazing. I can only put Jordan ahead of him.

Jeff Green What? Have you even been watching lately? and I mean the last 5 years? Karl Malone isnt top 10. Bron is at the very least 10. You say the 70 but Bron wouldve dominated that era. He does more than just Dunk. You could say that about Dr J. Bron is better than him. No question. Bird was a beast but really you cant rank players, its too hard. But know this Bron is definately better than Karl Malone.

Karl Malone is very underrated but come on man. LeBron is better than Malone, Wilt, Kareem, and Tim Duncan. I think LeBron has absolutely no argument for the goat because of his mindset. The guy got bailed out twice by Ray Allen and Kyrie. The only reason LeBron is in the goat conversation is because those two shots went in. But you honestly think Karl Malone or Kareem or Tim Duncan or Wilt are better than LeBron? That's stupid. Bird vs. LeBron vs. Magic is a good debate and I won't call you crazy no matter how you rank those 3.

@@thsu8 From the few games I've seen him play, he doesn't hustle on defense. He think he's too good to play D. So, he's only worth half of a Michael Jordan, who was amazing on defense. As for comparing LeBron to Wilt or Kareem, he wouldn't be able to score on them because of their height. And he sure wouldn't be able to defend against them. Anyway, basketball is dead now, just like every other sport. Let it rest in peace.

@@jeffgreen3376 I agree. Michael is 1 and Kobe, who is the closest thing to Michael, is 2. Bill Russell is 3. LeBron's mindset is not on their level. You're right, he doesn't always play defense. Because dominating on both ends of the court takes a relentless mindset. Michael and Kobe were 1st team All-Defense 9 times. They never took nights off defensively, much less seasons off.

Russell is still regarded as the greatest defensive player of all-time. Statistically he's the 2nd best rebounder of all-time. He's one of the best passing bigs of all-time. And the greatest winner/leader in all of professional sports. He didn't need to score 30 a game.

The average height of centers in Wilt's day is 6'10, he was 7'1. Not a huge difference.

Larry Bird always beat Michael Jordan if you want to check the stats. Hell, Michael could never beat a prime Lakers or Pistons team. He never overcame much of anything until all the greatest players were old or retired. He was virtually always favored in every championship season he ever won and he was the main attraction to the greatest supporting cast and most winningest coach of all time. If you look at the full body of work, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is the greatest. He played up against the record breaking Wilt Chamberlain, the Airness Michael Jordan, he won championships in different teams, he has the most points in NBA history, his longevity is unmatched, and he won in High School, College, and the NBA. Kareem is at #1 for me.

Lebron top 15 of all time but he turns it over an awful lot in his career and has a losing record in the finals 3-5, and as of the recent scoring double digit mark LeBron tied MJ if u go to playoffs MJ has 1041 consecutive and LeBron has 349 games. No doubt LeBron is still great. Kobe has more championships and leads teams better than LeBron. Meaning Kobe last to championship he was the only consistent star player and LeBron had dwade shaq kyrie bosh and lost 5 times. But I put LeBron above Kobe just cause I never felt the vive of Kobe and he does steal MJ moves. And I don't like any of these players I talked about really lol.

Jason, gotta look at it from this point of view. He didn't leave his team for easy rings. Nor did he ever had a choke job like a 2011( Lebron looked lost). Got outplayed by a whole bunch of people whether teammates or the opposing team. That's bad. Kobe needed just one all star. Lebron needs 2 all stars.

Vic Vinegar White people don't have the athleticism to be great today. too many fast, skilled players. Bird would get shut down. The only player who could consistently be great throughout the eras is Jordan.
