It’s often considered hyperbole to say “ there will never be another…”, but with Bill Walton, that may actually be the case! RIP Bill, you were clearly one of the greats, on and off the court !

I always appreciated defense, rebounding, and passing. Bill Walton had it all and more. His broadcasting skills were also the best. He was a natural at both. He had a fire in his heart on the court and great personality in the booth. Thank you Bill. Thank you.

Mister Bill Walton played basketball at all levels so greatly, usually with so much pain (and such a big smile always); makes us all so lucky to have been able to grow up watching his talents and joy of life!! I’m not a huge fan of basketball fan, especially the professionals of late… But I am so inspired by the way he lived his life and inspired others like me, I feel the need to let my gratitude be known to him and his family. To the Big Red Dead Fan, from the Old Bald Dead Fan. RIP Bill 😢

So weird and poetic with that timing. Bill hated that the Pac 12 was going away
