I can't get enough of this guy. I write and record music and love dissecting what he does. His sense of improv and flow is second to none. He's a perfect case for why marijuana should be legal. Personally, when I smoke pot and then write music, what comes out is far more creatively interesting than what I do sober. There's definitely something to it...pot seems to allow a high capacity to create non-sequiturs and free association on the fly. It's illegality hampers untapped creative potential.

Replace "want" with "need". I am compelled to listen to this song at least once a day.

I mean, you probably get it, fellow KZfaq watcher... but just in case someone misses _how_ great this song really is: It's not just a good joke by itself, exaggerating those already weird 'women in bathrooms' and 'women with purses' tropes while at the same time simply being a beautifully sung musical act. It is of course also a deconstruction of what feels like every second souly-feely love-slash-drama song is, performed by 'singing divas preferably on the piano' like Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga, Adele, and so on and so on. It has both these strange overindulgingly high pitched 'sing your lung out' (OooohhhhUUUOOUUOOOUUOOUUOOUUUAAUUAA) moves AND those exaggeratedly hushed quiet parts. Some of the descriptions such as "beautiful brown blue black eyes" might as well read "beautiful [insert your preference here] eyes". He even copies their mannerisms when he for example annoyingly chews gum like Alicia Keys (or Britney Spears?) sometimes does before performing her "beautiful song". It's like reading a eulogy at a funeral; even if you hated the guy, could you please not do that while chewing gum open mouthed? To sing your "soulful" song for the 300th time as if it means something is already ridiculous, could you please not rub it in? And it of course ends with a persiflage of the unavoidable drum solo addon which transitions into a galloping horse. I guess you can sell these kinds of boilerplate touchy-feely songs every couple of years if you are attractive enough and are able to sing well. Or you could do it like Reggie and just not give a fuck. Thanks, Reggie.
