My dad was on drugs back in early 90s went in to rehab was very hard for him to go clean some guys he was in debt with over drugs Threaten to kill my mom. Reg Snr caught my dad going to rob a local bank he talked to my dad about the situation and how he could end up in prison for long time. Next day he came around to our house handed my dad $1000 dollars told him to go clean we never had any issues with the drug dealers anymore. My dads been clean till 2004 before he passed away. Reg snr also paid for the funeral cost. This man has blessed us to many times. He understands way to much respect uncle Reg snr thanks a lot.

One thing I can say about Reggie Sr and Jr is they recall things very well and can paint a vivid picture. He's talking about things 40 years ago like it was last week. But AB respected him enough to tell him he would handle it. He respected AB enough to let him handle it. Tookie respected AB's word enough to apologize. Reggie Sr. respected the apology enough to back off of his feelings. And Tookie respected how he handled it and gave him the respect in front of his fellow officers later. Most times in the world if you follow a code of respect, you will be able to cash it in down the line. And breaking it will get you handled right then or it will eventually catch up to you.

This is why you should only be able to be a cop in areas you grow up in. You respect your community as a cop and it’s more like family. The cops wouldn’t be so quick to shoot people when they know them and their families. Also, you can do real community policing.

This is old school policing right here & the gangs had respect for certain police officers bc they were from the same hood & lived in the same hood. Where it all went wrong was when the Police Departments did away with their residency requirements. Letting people be Police Officer's & they didn't have to live in the community they served. They don't give a Shit about the community bc they don't live there. If Police Departments bring back their residency requirements I bet you'll see a major decline in Police shooting & killing black & brown citizens bc they know they may run into them on the streets on their day off or when they're off duty.

One dude that i know tookie would've thought twice about bullying, RAYMOND WASHINGTON. THE ORIGINAL FOUNDER OF THE CRIPS. Before tookie became known in the streets of LA, raymond already had a reputation for constantly getting into trouble and fist fighting. When it came down to hand to hand combat no one could touch raymond washington. Tookie was the co-founder of the crips but Raymond was the ORIGINAL FOUNDER. Even though raymond and tookie were actually friends, i still believe tookie would've thought twice before "trying" raymond

I played little league baseball with Jerry Stone and went to elementary school with him. He was a real good baseball player. Probably could have made it to the majors if he grew up in a different environment.

Yeah because it was more hidden. U don’t want to approach most situations with a gun or threat of a gun. Things was more smooth back then. We can fight but if I got to pocket shot your azz I will 😏🤣old Mfs will cut you and everything back then.

That story might be true, Tookie said in his book that he frequented the PJ's and was a friend of Anthony Baylock. And i think his son is from the PJ's, the mother is a woman named Beverly McGowen.
