In the 1950's, I sat beside Reginald Dixon at the Wurlitzer watching his talented hands dancing and skipping around the manuals. Mr Dixon also invited my Father to play the Wurlitzer - Dad was a Chapel and Church Organist. What a wonderful Day that was. Over the years, Church and Chapel Services very often had both piano and organ playing in unison. Thank you for posting the recording and the nostalgic trip down Memory Lane . One Reginald Dixon, one Albert Schweitzer - different music genres but both genius Organ Players.

Hi JJ and Thank You so much for commenting. I met and chatted with Reg. many times in the corridor behind the stage at the Tower Ballroom. He graciously signed my copies of his recordings and spent time with all his fans who had assembled to meet him. A lovely, genuine person whose personality shone across the footlights. A true "Star"!
